Pub (hehe)

Mistletoe listened to the raucous noise the humans made, and smiled. They were so quaint.
"Hey Audrey!" Audrey was her human name that she used when she was with humans.
She made her way over to the speaker. It was a girl called Sarah. She was a bit of an air-head, but hey. Typical human.

Holly strolled into the pub, bopping her head along with the beat of *thinks up random song name* Dance,Dance by Fall Out Boy.
She spooted Mistletoe and raised an eyebrow in her direction, but sat at a nearby table without comment.

'Audrey' aknowledged Holly, then looked back to Sarah. Mistletoe didn't even know what she was saying. So she walked away, leaving Sarah in the middle of her sentence, and joined Holly.
"Hey."

Alba strode into the pub, looking around. She"d spotted Holly going in and wanted to hang out with her friend. She searched round the room and spotted her wacky friend sitting at the bar with an other girl. She walked over to them.
"Hey, Holly! Wazup?"

"Hullo. I'm... ." She gave a look to Holly - is she human or not? was the question plain on her face. Should she call herself 'Audrey' or 'Mistletoe'?

Holly raised an eyebrow in Mistletoe (lets just call her that, its surprisingly easier to type LOL) 's direction.
"You're.....?" she prompted and held out her hand.
Holly glanced around at Alba and grinned.
"Hallo crazy person." she said.

((omg i forgot we don't know eachother yet... ok, improvise))

Mistletoe grinned and was about to say "don't you remember me?" when she stopped, and flushed.
"Oh... I'm sorry." She stammered. In a dream she had had, she had seen Holly. So, ridiculously, had assumed that Holly knew her.
"Mistletoe." She finished, and shook hands. "I.. no, it'll just sound mental so I won't say it."

Holly snorted lightly.
"Uh....okay.....Bristol. Holly. Nice to meetcha...."

Alba turned to Mistletoe, instantly smelling her disguise away.
"Hi," she said, raising her hand so the new girl could shake it, "Im Alba Manticora. I'm a Manticore animagus."
Then, giving Holly a knowing look, said:
"Funny, I'v never met a fairy before..."

She shook hands with her.
"Awesome. I love manticores. Oh, this is Pago. He is a perfectly intelligent ermine, so none of the coochi coochi coos, ok darlings?"
Pago poked his nose out of Mistletoe's handbag.
"He mustn't show himself too much here, you know."

"Sure," Alba winked at Mistletoe, a knowing look in her eyes.

Audrey (that's right) stared at Pago, a faraway look in her eyes. Then she snapped back awake.
'Sorry darlings." She said, and ordered a dry martini.

Alba turned to the barman (who she found gorgeous by the way) and ordered a gin and tonic. She eyed him as he got her drink. Short blond hair, blue eyes, taller than her... oh yeah, and the bum. Never forget the bum. Niiiice, thought Alba, and then snapped back to the present and took her drink from the barman, her fingers intentionally brushing his as she took the glass. Their eyes met for a split second, so the Manticore took the oppertunity to sneek a quick wink at him. She smiled and turned back to her friends.
"So," the said, "where were we?"

Audrey noticed the barman staring, a bit dazzled - make that like he'd just had his brain removed - at Alba. That made her think of the brief romance she'd had... once upon a time...

"Oh my god!" exclaimed Alba, "I'v just noticed your heels! Love them! Where'r they from?"

"Um... You know, I think it was Nw Look..."

"Love them! They'r so sexy."
Alba took a sip from her glass, feeling the tingle of alcohool on her toung.

Audrey took her dry martini, and stroked the stem of her glass absent mindedly.
"So... Yeah."

"Yeah what?" asked Alba, "You doing anything important soon? Done anything important lately?"
