Aba smiled at her friends before making her way gracefully over to the buffet table.

Shadow followed.

"How have you been?" she asked Alba.

"OK." Alba said, smiling at her friend.

"That's good," said Shadow, smiling back.

Alba quietly chewed on a half cooked burger. Her manticore side lapped at the blood, purring quietly in contentement.

Holly entered the room, her arms in the air. "I'm heeeere!" she said dramatically. She walked over to the table, where her friends where. "Hey guys," she said, "What's up?"

Natalie rolled her eyes.
"Hallo Holly. You look gorgeous. As always."

"Hello Holly." Alba said with a smile.

Holly laughed, "I know I do Natalie," she said, "So do you," she added. "Hullo Alba," Holly said, grinning, "You also look lovely," she turned to the table, "So does this food!" she said, stuffing her face.

Natalie raised an eyebrow but didn't comment.
"I am SUCH a dork!" she realised.

Alba giggled quietly, smiling at her friends.

"Hello," said Shadow to Holly, smiling.

"Hi babe," Holly said, grinning back to Shadow. "Yes, you are a dork," Holly said, turning to Natalie, and patting her on the shoulder.

"Yes, I know." Natalie said, "But everyone loves me for it, so that's okay."
She beamed and took out a copy of Holly's autobiography, which turned out to be a very interesting read.

Shadow shook her head.
"You. Two. Are. Nuts," she muttered.

"We aren't!" Natalie cried stowing "Jane Eyre" under her seat, "WE ACTUALLY ARENT!"

"Well...Holly is," said Shadow, smiling slightly once again.

Natalie paused.
"That's true. But she's pretty dang hot."

Shadow sighed slightly and then, for no reason, hit Holly over the head with a paper cup.

Natalie looked over at Holly.
"That is so like you." she commented.

Shadow looked away from the party of a moment as Meran clawed to get into her mind again...but she pushed him out again.

Holly's brow furrowed, as she looked at Shadow. "You okay?" she asked, her voice sounding concerned...for once.

Natalie looked towards Shadow also, wanting to be in there before Holly.
"IM HERE FOR YOU!" she yelled.

Jamie walked into the room. The place was actually a gym that had been rented out by someone or other to hold the party. He scanned the people in front of him, trying to find his friends. Instead, he spotted the drinks table and went in search of some kind of alcohol. Nothing too strong, just something to lighten his mood a little.

"James!" Natalie warned, "You know what you're like!"
