Innocent eyes.

Shadow gazed back at Jamie, her face still impassive. She was clearing her mind, calming herself. Her secondary heart had now taken over all the work again, and she could sense that it wasn't going to be able to eep up if she got emotional or went demonic. Having Vrael beside her helped. She trusted his medic training, and knew that he would help her if necessary.

Jamie's eyes didn;t flicker from hers, "Something interesting?" he asked her not daring even to move a part of his body.

"No, just waiting for you to make a move." Shadow said, her facial expression not changing.

"What move are you expecting?" He asked her a smirk appearing on his face.

"Any move." Shadow retorted calmly. She felt on edge, and one hand moved to rest on the hilt of her sword. Shaeman and Vrael both gripped theirs with a renewed vigor.

Jamie didn't need to look to see that she was holding her sword.
"You think I would kill you? Seriously, what would be the need to? Some sort of crime of passion or something? Sorry, not my style..."

Shadow just glared at him.
"Shaeman, Vrael, Cika," She said, "let's go before I kill something." With that, she turned her back, starting to walk further into the forest.

Jmaie didn't move, but said the first thing that came into his mind
"And when will you be back?"

Bart, not really knowing what to say (or preferred not saying what came into his mind, as it would be very rude to interrupt a discussion (even a querell) between two ones.) was listening closely to the words both of them spoke, few of them intriguing him, but few was enough for him to think lots of questions to ask on that matter.
He noticed Shadow draw away from her so called 'Ex-husband', and he stood up from the cold, grey boulder he was previously on. He sniffed the air, knowing that his demonic blood wasn't on the loose at the moment, thus letting him use his normal Kraferr senses. The wind carried an acidic smell that tingled the nostrils, but nothing more. It could be pollution or somewhat, meaning Bart could be near a city, but then, he thought, that there is so much pollution on the world that no area is now left unpolluted. Bart followed Shadow, his footsteps making slight squishing noise as Bart walked through the humid but gentle grass.

Shadow stopped, looking back over her shoulder at Jamie.
"If I'm lucky, not anytime soon."

Bart already had a couple of doubt's on Jamie's matter. Jamie seemed calm, but still, behind that, may be a sperson like Sither. Bart's face darkened at this thought, but quickly through it away as he knew he wasn't very good at keeping emotions a secret. A small, brisky wind blew through the leaves of the outer rim of the forest, into the conifer trees. It was followed by a slight smell of wet vegetation, which was normal, as it was raining.
