Lear and Umbre Teridas.

Species: Sorceress.

Appearance:
Lear is a small female human child, with a slim, semi-circular head. Her eyes are wide, and shine of a distant green. Her hair is pitch black, cut at her hips, and flowing. Her ears are almost glued to the sides of her head, and they are hidden by the dense mass of her hair. Lear has a flat chest, and an overall skeletical body. She has normal-sized arms and legs, long hands and long fingers with short nails, and long feet, where her bones are sticking out.
Lear has almost always bruised hands, from living outside. Her mince diet is what gave her her current physique.
She is clothed by a tight black bandana, with a light grey feather stuck into the left side, flowing gently in the wind. Lear has a dark brown scarf that is wrapped around her neck, and she mostly hides her mouth in the fabric. She wears also a dark red shirt, and a pair of very baggy trousers, slightly too big for her, which scrapes against the eart as she walks.

History:
Lear is an approximately normal human. Approximately. When she was born, she was supposed to have a twin, Umbre. She did have a twin, yes, but it didn't come out as the parents expected. Umbre had died within the mother's womb, next to Lear.
Since the father was a sorceror, he immediately did the illegal operation to bring back Umbre's spirit from the depths of darkness. He managed to, but only in exchange of Lear's shadow. The father then sealed Umbre to Lear's foot, making Umbre act like a shadow, but would still be alive, even though he couldn't speak. If ever Umbre's link would be broken, Umbre would not die, but be able to live in liberty, out of Lear's imprisonment. Lear lived so, not being able to remember this tragic event. Her father taught her how to use basic magic, such as healing and protection, but also hallucination, invocation, evocation, and divine spells. Soon, at the age of 10, she learnt that her shadow wasn't hers at all, but her dead brother's spirit, locked to her body. Scared and confused, Lear ran away, her dead brother with her. After having lived in the outside world for one year, she now has learnt a few spells by herself, carrying a big black book she took from her father before running away, that showed many spells. She is currently trying to find out how to break the link between her and her brother, but it is strong, and it seems that a page was ripped out of the book she currently has.

Powers:
Lear has learnt spells of many sorts thanks to her father, such as healing, protection, hallucination, invocation, evocation, and few divine spells. She learnt by herself some offensive spells, and some necromancy spells. Lear doesn't have exceptional magic, and uses it only when needed, because it tires her out quickly.

Hobbies: Travelling about on the surface of the world, trying to find out how to recuperate her twin brother.

Lear is a timid young female, always looking up at people when she talks to them, but when they talk to her, looking somewhere else. She's always hidden somewhere, and always worried. Her eyes are always looking at something. She almost hates her parents for having locked her brother to her body. She is a pessimist female, also.

Umbre has no static appearance. As he is a spirit, he can shapeshift, thus, according to what Lear is wearing, he can change his appearance into the exact shadow of her. But, if we explained in other words, Umbre would just be a pitch black human, with no distinguishing features to notice if it is a male or a female.

History:
Explained in Lear's history.

Powers:
Umbre can shapeshift into anything he want, but as he is sealed to Lear's body, he cannot do anything else. He cannot stretch indefinitely, and cannot interact with objects around him. Until he is liberated from the link, he is just a shadow, that moves by itself sometimes, I have to admit.
