Crescent night.

Raven narrowed her eyes.
"And you think I'm not breaking some of my own laws?" She asked quietly. "Part demons have strict laws as well, you know."

"I don't care about your rules, demon!" Erelx retorted, "Here as you may have noticed, I'm the one who got you out of your sh*t, I'm the one that's armed here and I'm the one in good shape here!" Erelx laid er dagger on Raven's throat. "So that makes me the boss here," she whispered in Raven's ear.
Ahrach started to say something, "Erelx don't-" Erelx gave a ferocious slap on her brother's cheek. His head recoiled, and he immediately put his gun to Erelx's head. "Sister! Don't play with my temper!" Ahrach shouted.
"Ahrach, you know what you are doing is wrong!" Erelx shouted. She wasn't scared of her brother, and her dagger was still on Raven's throat. She continued, "You know how father and mother were against other races for mates!"
"Like you can talk, Erelx," Ahrach yelled at her, "You're the one who loved a freaking hybrid in your young years!"
Erelx stepped back once, afflicted. She closed her eyes tightly, then glared up at Ahrach.
"That's different! At least Jarel was a kuijin!" She retorted.
"You know father and mother are equally against other races for mates as they were against hybrids!" Ahrach yelled back at her sister. He didn't like to bring back the topic of his dead parents, but it had to be so. Erelx turned around, growling, and armed her sniper. She went behind a large stone, and looked through the zoomer the group of humans escorting Alteris away.

Raven's eyes had begun to flicker red when Erelex put the knife to her throat, and then the demonic possession took over when she saw the female Kuijin hit her brother. Raven had fallen to her knees, desperately trying to regain control.

Erelx scowled at the demon. You're not going to get my attention anytime soon, she thought. She looked back into the zoom. On the other hand, Ahrach immediately crouched near Raven. He did not recognize the magical symptoms, and he did not know what to do.
"Oh God..." He said, quietly.

It took Raven several moments before she could even attempt to try and regain control over herself and over the magic that was snaking out from her hands, eyes, and charka. The demoness' hand scraped the dirt beneath it in her mental battle.

Ahrach, for once, didn't know what to do, in a situation where the person could be having a heart attack. He had already checked eight times in four seconds, to check the symptoms of a heart attack, but the red eyes weren't a symptom. He had put that it may be a symptom for a demon, as they had two hearts. Ahrach had noticed that when he first hugged Raven. Except he didn't know what to do to a demon in this kind of suffering.

Raven struggled with the possession, but then brought it back under control, collapsing to the ground, breathing heavily, for a few moments before getting to her feet, brushing off her cloak and trying to appear as if nothing had happened.

Erelx rolled her eyes. Thought so. she had nothing at all. She aimed the group of men escorting the kuijin. She squeezed one eye shut, positioning her sniper in a better place.
ahrach lifted himself with Raven, putting one arm under hers, helping her up.
"Are you ok?" He asked, not really sure.

Raven tried to hide the fact that her hands were shaking as she looked at Ahrach.
"I'm fine," She said, slightly snappish. Realising her tone, the demoness spoke again, her eyes cast to the ground. "Sorry, demonic possession isn't one of the easiest things to handle."

Ahrach nodded. "Don't worry," he answered. He stood in front of Raven, crouching slightly, to be at her height. He put his two hands on each of Raven's shoulder. "Even though my sister is against our relationship," Ahrach continued, "My decision is made. I won't turn back." Of course, Ahrach stood up, and looked down at Raven.
"But, of course, I'll need to know more about the demonic possesion symptoms. Is there anything to do, to prevent this act?" He asked.

Raven looked into Ahrach's golden eyes, nodding.
"Demonic possession is triggered by emotions," Raven explained quietly, "thankfully, it's normally only anger that triggers it..."

Ahrach turned his eyes upwards, thinking. So, brain stimulation provokes the changes. It isn't and body defect.
"Is this only characteristic to demons, or part demons?" Ahrach asked, wanting to know more, if ever Raven had a crisis again.

Raven snorted.
"Full demons have nothing to worry about. Part demons, however, carry a fragment of their parent demon in their minds, and it's always trying to break free."

Alteris was being drug away from the two kuijin and the whatever. He tried to think through any possible way of escape nothing came to his mind. He wondered if just fighting and dieing would be the best thing to do. Alteris decided that would be the best way, and prepared to shake the to men restraining him off.

Erelx closed one eye tightly, and started pulling the trigger. It was harder to shoot prey from a long distane, even with the zoom, and when it was moving. She finally pressed the trigger. A pillar of blood shot out of one man's head, as he fell to the floor, dead. One down, she thought.
Ahrach jumped as the shot echoed. He glanced at his sister, who looked back at him, standing up behind the stone.
"We gotta move," she said, simply. She glared at Raven, then started going away. Ahrach nodded, and put his weapon on his hip, while he put his dagger back in it's sheath, and his scythe back on his back. He helped Raven move forwards.

Raven followed Ahrach, her cloak billowing out behind her. She glanced at Elerx, still wondering why she was so into this law, but then Raven had to remember that she had been the same about the laws laid down for the part demons by the Synari Senate, which she would have upheld to the death.

Erelx shouldered the sniper, and began walking sideways, looking at the human group from afar, making sure to stay hidden.
Ahrach kept Raven close to him, one arm on her back to help her stabilize. He was weightened down by his weapons, but he was sure that Erelx had more on her body, hidden.

Raven walked alongside Ahrach, trying to reorganise her thoughts again.

Alteris saw a man drop, the humans surprisingly didn't do much other than jump a little, and quicken there pace. Alteris thought are they other kuijin coming for me, or just giving me a chance? Alteris started to pull his arms in front of himself trying to get the men to lose grip.

Erelx stopped once more behind a tree. She took the sniper off her back, and she aimed again at the men through the zoom. She waited a while, then shot. A blade of blood crossed a man's head, as he fell down. Headshot, Erelx thought.
Ahrach waited with Raven, hiding from the humans. If the humans continued like this, it would only be a matter of time until they all fell down.

Raven stood close to Ahrach, biting her lip as her arm pained her. She wondered if the Milita had managed to undo the little healing that had occured since the first breaks.

--Aren't the humans getting a little stupid here?!--

Erelx padded away to a second tree. Luckily for her, she had brought ammo for at least fifty normal men, such as the humans who just took Alteris. And, also luckily, the path didn't separate much from the mountain. Erelx crouched, and locked her weapon onto her shoulder. She peered through the zoom, and pulled the trigger. One man fell down, a small geyser of blood spurting out of the man's neck. Just a little higher, Erelx thought.

None of the men broke formation. The soldiers sent to capture the kuijins and demon were no amaters, who would have broken ranks and fled at the first sign of hostility, but hardened, toughened soldiers who knew the ropes of the Milita well enough by now not to be alarmed.
Raven watched, the sight bringing back memories of distant, bloodstained battlefields from the back of her mind. Battles she had always striven to forget, but the sight of the killing just before her eyes denied her that possibility.

Alteris saw another man fall, he was surprised there was no reaction, not surprise, not anything. Alteris felt the men dragging him along tighten his grip, and whisper " keep moveing.".

Erelx approached the group very warily, and hid behind another tree. She peered out the edge, then crocuhed and shouldered her sniper. She looked through the zoom. She pressed the trigger. Erelx had gained many years of experience in precision, thanks to her first training with the bow, then with firearms. She had already been a pain in the a*se for most humans, as she was dexterous with her transformation, and could shoot very well. She was a known killer, of unknown whereabouts. The man fell to the ground, a hole trough the head.
