I'm Nyx (aka Aurélie), I live in Belgium and was searching for a nice rp forum I'm glad I've found it

Oh what I also wanted to say: I am not a native speaker, so I probably will write some grammar mistakes or 'weird' words (like dutch when I'm not watching out) lol I hope that doesn't bother you guys too much

Erm Posh? lol I hope I think of a wrong meaning. I'll just reply to what I think it is. If I'm wrong too bad for me.

No, Dutch isn't posh. Well, if you want me to be specific, I speak a variation of Dutch: Flemish. Why I didn't mention it at first because I'd have to explain the history between the Dutch and Flemish people. Which is very long and boring to most 'outsiders'. And who has ever heard of Flemish? In short: it could be considered as the American variation of English. In the long run it is the same, just different pronounciation, different sayings and different mentality.

I can assure you, Shadow, Flemish is a lot but never haughty or snobbish.


So okay.. We're not here to discuss languages, are we.

Oh and whilaroo, I don't get hurt quick But that doesn't mean I'm going to let people walk all over me.

And Shadow was referring to my language, the speech which I was employing, as posh, not your own... I have heard of Flemish, by the way... Although, that's about as far as my knowledge of the language goes, in that I know of its existence. I am bad with any language but my own native tongue...

Anyhow, you are completely right, we are not here to discuss languages... You came here seeking an rping forum of quality, if I'm not mistaken... Thus, I must ask you to be patient, as some of the members here are amateur, myself included... Also, I would like to hear of your experience in the realm of rping, should you be willing to divulge such information to me...

I don't think you write posh, as a matter of fact, I really like the way you write because it's sort of the way I write in Flemish. My English isn't good enough yet to describe things as I can in Flemish. I'll learn.

Yes, that's true. I have rped a lot but in dutch forums.. This is the first time in an English one. That's also why I came here, we can learn together how to write better. There isn't the stress of worrying about those members who write incredibly well.
