And the Name of the Game is...

As some of you, well, most of you know, MC is being used as the basis of a video game. Can I get a \/\/007 from all of the sites geeks? Anyway, the game is being created to be the first of a series that is going to fall under the name IUNE (which stands for Infinite Universes Never Ending, and is credited to Copy'N'Paste.) Toryn, the game's acting director, has asked me to come up with a title. In that spirit, I started writing, but at about the time that I had written enough cliche and stupid titles to drive a person mad, it was presented to me by Darth Elmo that I might lift from shoulders the burden of trying to figure out the perfect title and just ask the lot of you. So, the idea is that I enter all the ideas that I've come up with and you guys vote for the ones that you like. During round one of the voting process, everyone will get ten votes. If, however, you cannot find five or even one vote that you like, you may suggest your own title instead and it will be added to the next round of voting. Aw... That didn't work did it? Since I'm the "director"(although, I'm not quite sure how it happened), do I get extra votes?

Also, some of the things we need to take into account... The name should reflect the game, at least a little bit... So, anything that has to do with the player influencing the story shouldn't be in it, as the story will be entirely preset.

As Grand Director of our fair game, you do have final say and, should you choose to exercise your prerogative, can have as many votes as you wish. I was going to vote myself, but now I'm not sure if that will be necessary... I hadn't realized that you really liked this stuff that much... Should you desire me to vote, or if there is anyone else on the site interested in voting upon 'the name of the game', please either tell me or do so, respectively, now. Otherwise, the next round of voting shall begin. The rules of said round to be specified ere it begins...

Concerning your fears on the subject of the preset story, I totally agree that the story shall be preset, but as far as I know, the only people playing the game will either be those involved in its creation or the people who wrote the original characters... This taken into consideration, the title being of a self-created nature would have a more poetic meaning. In other words, it would be indicative of the actual designers of the game. Also, as far as I know, anyone who wishes to put the effort into writing their own characters in the game will not only be allowed but welcomed to do so. I may be misunderstanding, but these were the reasons behind the titles conceptions. Well, that and some of them just sounded cool at the time... However, I do agree that the ending title must have something, remotely, to do with the game itself... But being the writers... heh, heh, we could 'write in' whatever connection to the title that we wish. Of course, that will only be necessary if the title chosen is incredibly deviant from the story itself, which I doubt...

Yet, a heart of shadows is what I believe it says, and that is exactly of what this story is made... Another possible translation was the sketched or sketchy heart, which is reminiscent of the writing that has birthed the characters within.)

106.A Shadow Stretched Across the World (This one was invented by Darth Elmo, though he strongly denies any recollection of the actions which led to its creation. At first, I disliked the title for its length, but it has since grown on me. This too is a sort of vague idea of what happens specifically to Shadow and to a lesser extent Bart.)

119.Lines in the Sand (I told you that it was one of my favorites, and since no one else has picked it, I shall do so. The reference it makes is to the line drawn in the sand which a person is dared to cross, and as we all know, life has much more than just one choice. Thus the plurality of the title. What's more is the more lines one crosses, the further in a certain direction one will go. This adds an extra little bit to the title's meaning, asking essentially where you are willing to go...)

132.The Heart Shall be Also (Even if you have never touched a Bible in your life you will probably have heard the verse, "Where your treasures are, there your heart shall be also." The concept of this has always caused me to wonder, and the idea of the fact that most of the characters on MC treasure one or more of the other characters indicates so touching a thought that... I think I'm gonna cry...)

143.How Many Moons (This is, of course, a prophecy reference, and at the same time reflects the fact that no one really knows how long they have to live...)

152.Death is a Window (None of us really knows to what, and yet we all seem to fear it dreadfully, but should we? Also it indicates that one or more of the characters involved will probably end up in the grave by the end of the story. Whether that person or persons is/are one of the villains or heroes is, of course, unknown to any but the writers, and perhaps not even they...)

175.How Heavy the Heart (By now it must seem fairly obvious that I'm just a sentimental sap and love these little references to much stronger emotions.)

243.Portrait Cast in Shadow (The dark face and countenance that you cannot quite see, the clothing of fabric so black and worn, but so much more the eyes as deep as the abyss frighten you to the core. Well, the part two of the scenario should be getting started. The game will be extremely delayed from our first point of view because I have Linux Ubuntu with no animation program. I can only sprite, and it's as hard as hell to sprite under GIMP, I tell ya. Especially with the remade IUNE sprites. I'm thinking of, ONCE AGAIN, changing the style to make it a little more convenient to GIMP.
