Bart closes his eyes also, just after Shadow did. Having them opened while in teleportation never made him feel comfortable when landing. Just the feeling- it made him uneasy. Sort of like if you turned around on yourself at high speed. But since Bart had been teleporting for over a year, he didn't feel the queasyness, except if he opened his eyes.

Shadow was shaking slightly as she landed, but she stood up straight, smoothing out her skirts as if nothing was even in the slightest bit wrong. She looked around, seeing herself in the middle of a city, a city that she recognised as Grenoble. The demoness smiled slightly behind her mask, taking a deep breath. She coughed for a moment, trying to adjust herself to a new atmosphere, turning away from Bart long enough to lift her mask slightly, long enough to allow her to cover her mouth to cough before replacing the mask, turning back to the Kraferr.

Bart opened his eyes, shaking on place slightly. He looked around, noticing a small black smoke emanate from where his bolt had landed. Sparks tingled out of his hands, disappearing into the air, after coiling up like burning plastic. He readjusted himself, and half-smirked when he noticed Shadow had her mask still put on. He shook his head, lifting one hand to his forehead, as his tail uncurled from his leg.
"Y'know, you can take off that mask now. Dominique won't really recognize you if you don't," Bart explained.
