Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow shrugged and started to trot towards a carriage.

Holly grinned and followed her, lugging her trunk behind.
"Pick a seat any seat," she said, stowing her trunk above them.

Shadow leapt up ontp a seat, scratching briefly behind one ear before curling up, front paws hanging over hte edge of the seat.

"So angelic," Holly commented, collapsing into the seat opposite.

The train began to move. Countryside flashed all around them. Holly was unusually silent, staring out of the window.

Shadow was equally silent, because wolves don't talk, and also looked out of the window.

Half of the journey passed in silence, and then, in one sudden movement, the train stopped.
Holly was flung forward, and hit her head off of the wall opposite.
She swore.
"What the fudge?" she muttered.

Shadow's claws had ripped the seat cover and the found herself under the opposite seat, thinking exactly the same thing.

Holly glanced at Shadow, and then opened the carrige door, and peered out anxiously.
All around, other doors were opening, and other kids were poking their heads out.
"What's happening?" came Riley's voice from the carrige opposite. Holly ignored this, and sat back in her chair.
"Maybe the engine died," she suggested.

Shadow crawled out and shrugged before climbing back onto another seat, in the same position.

There were a few shrieks from the hallway, and the sounds of carrige doors opening and shutting.
A formally dressed apparent ministry member opened the carrige door, and peered inside.
"Im looking for Artemis Finch," he said hurriedly. He scanned Holly's face, shook his head, and then went to leave.
"Wait!" Holly called, "Who's that?"
"A train bomber......" the man admitted, "We think he's near."

Shadow looked at Holly, looking concerned.

((Do train bombers exist....? lmao))

"Like .... here?" Holly said, glancing nervously at the wolf. "If we see him we'll ... uh ... letcha know..."
The man nodded, and exited as quickly as he had come.
"Scary," Holly said, mouth dry.

The wolf shrugged.

((haha, .... oh no ... im hyper, i wont be able to get to sleep now AHHHHHHH YAY!))

Holly stood up and did the macarina.

*ahem*

Holly looked out of the carrige door, to where several other students were looking panicked.
The ministry members appeared to have moved on up the train. It was at this moment that Artemis Finch decided he would make his move.
He took a deep breath and opened up the carrige opposite Holly and Shadow's, scaring several first years so much, they fainted.

The wolf, however, had other ideas on her mind as she slunk out of the carriage, close to the ground before sinking her teeth into his backside in a true guard dog manner.

((I know no guard dogs who do THAT .... lol))

Holly was rather impressed, but a little creeped out.
DID TRAIN BOMBERS EVEN EXIST???
*ahem*
Anyway, Artemis Finch whirled around and clamped his jaws together to stop himself screaming.
"WHAT IS A DOG DOING HERE?!" he yelled.
"She's a wolf," Holly said, joining the party, "Get it right, jack'."

Shadow had an evil glint in her eyes as she let go, but his trousers snagged on her teeth, ripping them to show rather embarassing underwear.

"Barbie Girl?" Holly asked, one eyebrow raised, "Seriously?"
"THEY WERE ON SALE!" Artemis cried, backing against the wall, "LEAVE ME ALONE! IM A TRAIN BOMBER!"

Shadow advanced again, growling, as if protecting Holly. SHe was NOT pleased.

"Easy Sha- Wol- whatever we decided on calling you," Holly muttered, "Lets just see what he wants first..."
Artemis looked down at Shadow, a look of disgust on his face.
"Its not poisonous is it?" he asked Holly.
"SHE is not," Holly corrected, "Now, what do you want?"
"I wish for a hostage," Artemis said, as if this was totally normal, "Now if you could give me one, I will be on my way."

Shadow grudgingly obeyed Holly, moving back to stand next to her.

"Yeeeeah," Holly said, narrowing her eyes sarcastically, "Just take me why dont you?"
"Thanks!" Artemis said, sighing gratefully, and before anyone could yell "WHAT THE FUDGE WITH SPRINKLES?" he had Holly in his 'clutches' and was walking up the middle of the train.

Shadow was not standing for this (nor was she sitting, but never mind) and she bounded out into the rain after her 'owner'.

Her 'owner' was fiiiiit.

*ahem*

Holly kicked against this dic- man. "S'cuse me," she said, irritated, "But when my Lawyer gets out of his Young Offenders Institute, he will soooo be sueing you for violation of-"
"WILL YOU BE QUIET?" Artemis yelled, "I AM TRYING TO THINK! See if I have a hostage in front of me, the Ministry wont be able to send spell- oooh..."
Artemis' face paled, at the sight of the ministry members walking toward the pair, at a quick pacey pace pacersson.

Shadow loped alongside them, and shuddered slightly at the sight of the ministry.
