The Second Battle Of The Grounds

Natalie shushed Holly, waiting for Shadow to continue expectantly.

Shadow bit her lip.
"Death eaters had started to spy on me 50 years ago, and when they discovered my heritage, they drugged me and dragged me to the Riddle Manor."

"....And then ....?" Holly prompted, still trying to figure out what heritage meant.

"I see," said Natalie, shaking her head, then went quiet again.

"I stayed there for three years, three years they crucioed me every day, using any means of torture until I gave in." Shadow said.

"Gave in to what?" Holly asked, narrowing her eyes.

"That he took control of me. That's what the mark is. He 'owns' me." Shadow said.

Natalie stayed silent.

Holly did the same.
"I'm sorry Arella's not here." she said softly after a moment.

Shadow stayed silent at this comment, trying not to cry again.

Natalie nodded.
"I know how you muct feel Shadow..." she said.

"You should both go. Now." Shadow said.

"Uh, how?" Holly couldnt help asking.

"By walking out the door?" Shadow said.

"I was talking to Nat ...." Holly said quietly, "But uh, we're not going either."

"You will go." Shadow said firmly.

"No..." said NAtalie quietly, "we're not...it'll happen again Shadow!"

"That's okay, ignore me." Holly muttered to Natalie, "But she's right, we're not leavin' Shad. Yeah ... how annoying are we."

"No, it won't." Shadow said. "I need you to get Merlas out of here!"

"Go get him out." Holly ordered Natalie.

Natalie took Merlas reigns.
"Good girl..." she said, "come on...lets go."
She pulled gentally.

"Can't believe she actually did that." Holly commented.

Merlas slowly put one hoof in front of the other, slowly gaining speed and following Natalie.

"Where's Voldy?" Holly asked Shadow again.

"I don't know, now go with Nat." Shadow said.
