The Second Battle Of The Grounds

The tunnel widened out into another cavern, where Shadow was tied.

Natalie crawled round the bend, and splashed into the...blood in the cavern.

She saw Shadow tied up.

She was glad that the blood was human blood, and she filled three vials with it before wading over to Shadow.
"Shadow, are you ok?" she asked, untying Shadow with her wand.

Shadow looked up at Natalie, blinking a few times before she realised who was standing there and attempted to stand up.

Natalie suddenly put her hands on Shadow's shoulders and pushed her back down.

"Don't move," she whispered, "there's...another vampire in the cave..."

Shadow nodded slightly and closed her eyes with a sigh.

Meanwhile, Holly heard voices from Natalie and sprinted backwards into her part of the 'cavern'. Why you couldn't say 'cave' is beyond me.

Shadow didn't look up at Holly.

"Get down," Natalie hissed at Holly, dragging her into the blood.

"You both have to go." Shadow said quietly.

"OH MY PETE WENTZ BLOOD!" Holly yelled.

"Not until I have the vampire removed," said Natalie quietly.

Shadow didn't argue.

"Wha' vampire?" Holly asked, eyes wide.

"Shut up dipwit!" Natalie hissed, "I am trying to locate it!"

"Archangel..." Shadow murmered.

"No...not her...an evil one," said Natalie.

"But here, tha's yer chile!" Holly said, forgetting to use her posh voice.

"She's here too." Shadow said.

"GET DOWN!" Holly yelled, jumping down.

Natalie was scanning the roof with infrared eyes.

Shadow closed her eyes and hoped everything would be ok now.

Natalie suddenly stood up, and took a great leap at a dark part of the roof, a low growl escaping from her mouth.

Shadow turned her head a fraction to watch Natalie with scared eyes.

Holly swallowed, and sat next to Shadow to watch.

Natalie dragged a dark object into the pool of blood, and they immediately began the fight.
