Lost

Holly wandered aimlessly through the forest that led to the lake. Or did it?
"Well this CANT be good." she observed, for it was growing dark.

Natalie was lying near a large rock, trying not to cry out in pain. She breathed deeply, sweat running down her face, mixed with her own tears.

Holly wandered around in a full circle, and tripped over the leg of an unknown person.
"OHMYPETEWENTZ!" she yelled and blinked several times, "Naaaat...?"
Natalie looked very different.

Natalie was panicking.
"Holly...your kid...has pick...a most...inapproapriate...time to....come," Natalie breathed, "WHILE I'M OUT OF THE BLOODY CABIN!"

"Wha- OHMYPETEWENTZ!" Holly screamed, "YOU'RE NOT SERIOUS!?"
She ran to a bush, threw up, and came back.

A small dove was flying at breakneck speed though the forest. It spotted Natalie and Holly before promptly crashing most comically into a tree and morphing into a dazed looking Archangel.

"Do I look like it? I AM NOT FREAKING KIDDING!" Natalie yelled in pain, "MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL AND DO SOMETHING USEFUL!...Why now....WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE HERE! AND NOW!"

Archangel recognised the signs Natalie was in and ran over.
"NatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNatNat!" She yelled.

"LIKE WHAT?!" Holy yelled, panicking now.

"SHUT UP!!" Natalie yelled, "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!"
Natalie breathed deeply, trying to keep calm.
Her legs were shaking slightly as though she was cold...but she wasn't.

"I'm sorry she's being mean to you." Holly said to Archangel, "I dunno what's with her mood like."

Archangel yelled for her mum in her mind, and Shadow appeared.
"What?"
Archangel pointed to Natalie.
"Oh for the love of Arias." Shadow muttered and went into Healer mode, looking through her potion collection before handing Natalie a painkiller.

Natalie screamed again.
"I DUNNO HOW FAR ALONG I AM! I'M GETTING THE PAINS EVERY MINUTE LIKE!" Natalie hissed.

Holly screamed louder, hands clamped over her ears, and she ran around in circles.

"Holly, it would be better if you didn't panic, and believe me I know how you panic at births." Shadow said, wrapping her cloak around Natalie.

"I can't help it!" Holly called, from behind a nearby tree where she was jumping up and down in panic, "I'm here if you need me though Nat!"

Shadow readied another potion, waiting for Nat to take the painkiller.

Natalie breathed and took it.
"It's...not...WORKING!' Natalie cried, "I think I'm too far along!"
Natalie clutched her stomach with a pained look on her face.
"IT HURTS SHADOW!" she screamed.

Holly returned to crouch next to Shadow.
"It's good you know how to do this." she commented.

"It's ok, I've got stronger ones." Shadow said soothingly, giving her another. She gently opened the connection, lessening the pain for her friend. It didn't seem to affect Shadow.

Holly sat gawping at the pair for a minute.
"What should I do?" she whispered.

"Shut up?" Shadow suggested.

Natalie screamed out all the same.
"Not. helping." she wheezed.
She yelped again, grabbing Holly by the t-shirt.
"HELP!" she moaned.

Shadow took on more of the pain, tensing slightly. She didn't care.
"Just calm down Natalie." She said quietly, starting to sing a soft lullaby in Synari.

Holly screamed.
"WHAT DO I DO!?" she yelled again, "MY T-SHIRT'S RIPPING!"
