Finding Vrael (Several years before)

Shadow landed with a rather big thud on the outskirts of a city in a different dimension. She shuddered as she picked herself up, looking around the lifeless, dark landscape. It was different to all the other dimensions she had been in. THis one seemed... dead. In a way it was. The dimension in which she stood was the home to all vampires. THis was where they had originated, befire gradually spearing out over the other dimensions.

After brushing the dust off her cloak and pulling the hood low over her face, Shadow started to look through the streets. She had sensed Vrael, Shaeman's twin, here. It was amazing. All three of the demons had thought that he was dead, or at least lost to the dimensions and uable to contact anyone for help, but only yesterday, he had sent a desperate contact to Shadow during her meditation. It had been faint, but she was sure that he was here.

Raven and Shaeman had stayed behind on earth to provide a back-up should something go wrong. Shadow was alone in this dead place...

With a loud bang, Hayley appeared, almost crying. "Wow," she said, out of breath, "Shadow?" she said, in disbelief, "I was teleporting, and got totally lost!" she cried, "Where are we?"

"SHHH!" Shadow hissed, pulling Hayley into the shadow of an alley.
"You have seriously messed up if you've ended up here!"
