Natalie sat silently and invisibly by the lake...now a full-grown woman. She smiled at the goings on. She was waiting for her old friends, Shadow, Holly and Jamie.

A speck of black appeared on the horizon which grew and grew until you could see that it was Merlas with Shadow crouched low over her neck. Merlas flared her wings to slow down as she landed at a full paced gallop. Once she had her speed back under control, Shadow directed her over to where Natalie was sitting, vaulting off the pegasus' back.
"Hey Natalie."

All the first years gathered round the two woman, smiling in awe at the full grown witches.
Natalie smiled back and answered their questions.
Then she turned to Shadow.

"I actually have a reason for calling you and the other's here..." she said, smiling. She held up her hand, when a shining diamond ring was on her finger.
