Shadow's home: Nightmare

Craig gasped.
"Oh honey, you don't even know what you've been missing out on. Britney's like...the queen of everything...the backround music you hear now...that is Britney...Miss Spears...whatever."
And indeed, Natalie grinned as in the backround she heard Britney Spears "Oops I did it again."

"I'm... not from around here." Shadow said, trying to explain.

"Ah...I see darling," said Craig, raising an eye-brow at Natalie.
"She's...what was the word Shadow...Amish," said Natalie, nodding.

"Russian." Shadow corrected. "I'm visiting Natalie because we went to boarding school together."

"Ah...yes...the english one...Oxford...yes...I took a hairdressing course there...very nice place...good people there," said Craig, blow-drying Shadow's hair.

"Hm..." Shadow said, drifting off into her thoughts.

Natalie sighed slightly.
"By the way, I love my hair Craig...thanks," she grinned, looking at herself in the mirror once again.
"My thoughts exactly babe...another master-piece," said Craig, curtseying slightly with a dimpled smile.

Shadow snapped out of her thoughts, and smiled slightly at Natalie though the mirror.

Natalie smiled back.
"Kay, all done," said Craig, revealing Shadow's hair. It was shorter, and he'd done it in such a way that she could have it the way she wanted.
"I kept a bit of length to let you have it up, and I kept the bit over your face long because I think you suit it...so yeah...take a look," said Craig, smiling at himself in the mirror over Shadow's shoulder and fixing his own blonde-streeked hair happily.

Shadow looked and smiled.
"Thanks! Rachel normally just cut it straight, this is a lot better!"

"My gawd I'm good," said Craig, sighing with relief and grinning.
Natalie grinned.
"You look beautiful," she said, smiling.
"Thank you, but look at your friend!" said Craig, laughing at his own joke.
Natalie laughed too.
