Toryn Vlaskie (FINSIHED!)

((Sorry it's bloody long, please read it anyway!))

Species: Half-Human, Half-Demon (this seems a little cliche here)
Age: 413 (looks 21)
DOB: 2/6/1823

Good, Evil, Neutral?: Neutral, fights for whoever pays the most, has unexpectadly turned on his friends in the past because someone put a bounty on their heads. 'Those days are in the past, when money was harder to come by' he once said though. Because other people grow old and die, he doesn't worry as much about his identity as some would, he has plenty of years ahead of him, and the people around him have so few.

Appearance:

He has medium length, shaggy-straight hair, but it isn't seen often because he is usually wearing his hood up. His skin is an average tan-ish white, but it turns a grey-ish tint when he is angry or fighting, which usually go hand in hand. His right arm is lined with red scales, so he usually wears a black, elbow high, leather glove on it. He is 6' tall flat, and he weighs about 161 lbs.

He is known as a legend among the people of Europe. People shudder in fear of the thought that he might come after them, they call him the Wraith, because he has been around for so long, and is still active.

(note: I am working on a picture, he is so hard to draw, I can't quite get it right just yet...)

History:

When he was born in dimension 45565, his parents sent him and his brother to another dimension in fear of them not being accepted by the other demons because of their half-human side. Even Clora was not able to stay there, and Hall and their mother had to flee to the same world they had sent their children.

Toryn and his brother were found outside an orphanage called "Shelter for the Lost", they looked to be about 4 at the time. Right off the bat, they noticed that he aged slower than most, but his brother didn't. This was because he had more demon blood then Drake, but the owners of the orphanage did not know this. They were afraid of him, and after 3 years of staying there, they transferred him, seperating him from his brother. The new place was not kept up as well as the last, and the employees sometimes even forgot to feed them. The children were kept in locked rooms, with little more than a few toys, and some beds. Food was brought at breakfast and dinner, but as mentioned, the employees sometimes "forgot". This didn't bother the owners, but it did the government, and the orphanage was shut down, and Toryn was transferred again. This time it was to a suprisingly nice place, but the other kids were cruel. He was picked on, and made fun of, this led to some rather frightening results. Toryn got into a fight with another kid(Toryn looked about 6 then) and broke one of his bones, and left plenty of bruises and cuts to go along with it. After the fight, some of the other students noticed that his right eye had become black and red, and ran in fear. They reported that he was demonic(and they were right). Before anyone could catch him though, Toryn ran away. He wandered streets aimlessly, and after a day of walking, fell asleep on a random porch in Paris. In the morning, he was found by the owner of the house, he let him in for breakfast and fed him, telling him he could stay here for awhile until he found his home. Toryn didn't want to go back to an orphanage though, and the man agreed to keep him in his house for a few months, Toryn might be able to find another home, or a relative to live with in that time. But when the agreed upon date passed, the man, named Roran, did not kick him out, but just pretended to be oblivious to the fact that Toryn should have left by then. Toryn ended up staying with Roran for 15 years, and Roran did not seem to care, or even notice, that Toryn had aged very little in that time. Toryn looked about 11 now, and had been learning school from Roran. Roran decided that it might be time to enlist Toryn in some form of hobby, Toryn chose basic sword skills. After the 3 year period of classes, Toryn had climbed to the top, and even the teacher had a hard time fighting him. He was moved into the advanced classes, and continued learning new techniques, even making up some of his own. Toryn trained for a total of 5 years, but he only seemed to age 2 within that time, due to his demon blood. Toryn stopped taking the sword classes, and returned to just doing chores around the house for Roran, along with his usual homework, although, he still practiced his fighting everyday. Eventually when Toryn reached the appearance of age 16, he was offered a job by a top secret organization. They had seen him training, and even 'fighting crime' in dark alleyways, and were intrested in recruiting him as an assassin. He agreed, and upon completing their test course with flying colors, began his first job as a new mercenary. He completed it easily, and was suprised at how simple a matter it was to take another's life. He moved in at the FT HQ, and wrote Roran often, he never told him what he did though, he wasn't allowed to tell anyone he was an assassin. After awhile, Fallwn Talon began to notice the slow speed at which Toryn aged, they were delighted. If Toryn lived longer, his use to them would be extended as well. When Toryn reached about the appearance of age 17, the aging process slowed to a very slight crawl. It took almost 10 years to age one month now, and Toryn was beginning to outlive the other assassins, and even FT's managers. As he became more popular, rumors spread of a deadly assassin who didn't age, and was 'invincible', they said. Of course, he really wasn't, but he thought it amusing that they would imagine so. He eventually earned the name "The Wraith", as the rumors spread to more and more people. Even his fellow killers began calling him it, and the nickname was established. He continued in the business, everyday like the last, until he met another half-demon, by the name of Raven.

ooc// ~w00t~ Got it finished... I'm thinking Toryn knows Raven from meeting her somewhere in Europe awhile ago, they became mutual 'friends'. He was later hired to kill her, hence my posts in "Can you help me?".

Powers:

Knows a decent amount of magic, most of it dark or shadow. Can teleport himself, but it costs him a lot of his strength. He can create shadow fire, ice, lightning, as well as shift earth, but he doesn't do so often, due to his slight lack in experience with such things. Most importantly though, he can cast magic on his weapons, and even use alchemy to change there shape. He knows very little healing magic, other than a spell that sacrifices one life, to return another from the dead, but only if the person being revived just died. When he uses defensive magic, it is often so quick you don't see it, he usually uses it to block things like machine gun bullets, and even incoming rockets. Oh, he is also unnaturally fast, even for a demon.

Personality:

Dark and quiet, with a bit of sarcasm. He has seen many deaths, and his tale is a tragic one, his personality reflects this. Isn't quick to anger, unless he is in a fight, then the rage bursts open, and all you see is a monster, a monster with very, very dark heart. Despite his cold shell, Toryn is a rather entrartaining and, delightful, person to be around. He sometimes shows a bit of arrogance, because he is usually better than the person he is fighting, and he knows it. He is also very, very secretive about his past.

Hobbies: Reading, Drawing, he enjoys a good fight, and he is also the leading champion in Street Fighter at the Fallen Talon HQ, which makes him quite the gamer. Oh, and listening to music.
Job: He kills people for a living as a mercenary. His victims have called him the Wraith, and he now introduces himself that way sometimes.
Relations (Family): He gets along very well with his great niece, and would die to save her any day. The rest of his family is dead, but he got along with them all pretty well too when they were living.
Relations (Spouses): None as of yet. He has dated quite a few girls, but knows he can't stay with them, because they could learn of his secret, and he would out live them.
Best Friends: Ashley, a fellow mercenary, when she joined, he was selected to show her around and train her, this has made them very close, and she is almost like a sister. Even though she looks about as old as him now, she was 14 when she first joined.
Pets: At the Fallen Talon HQ, there is a black persian cat that lives around, and all the world's best assassins are always giving it treats and petting it, so it is not directly Toryn's, but he helps take care of it...
Accent: None..I guess... (I don't know any accents! lawl)
Clothes:
-Casual (see avvie)
Solid black zipper hoodie with no designs or even a tag, he usually has his hands in the pockets, and you can see a bit of a white shirt underneath the hoodie because he doesn't have the zipper all the way up. On his legs he wears plain blue jeans that show some signs of wear. He also has a black belt with two silver holes every inch or so that is much longer than nessacsary, so there is a lot of excess leather that hangs down off of it. He will sometimes be wearing headphones, eithier earbuds, or full-size, depends on the situation.

Black karate-ish outfit on his torso, loose black pants on legs, a hood, and a full body cloak without armholes. He also has various holsters and sheaths that get clipped/tied anywhere they can without hindering his agility.

Distinguishing Features:His right arm is covered in red scales and is slightly larger than his left, his right hand also has claws rather than fingernails. His right eye turns red and black when he is fighting or angry, and the demon side of himself comes out.
Special Abilites: Well, magic. Enhanced speed, and strength, especially in his right arm.
Likes: Chocolate, Music, Fighting, Gaming, Having a good time, watching movies and ALL the special features and commentaries.
Dislikes: Being a demon. Killing without reason. Sports that involve a ball.
Fears: The death of his friends, which is indefinete.
Habits: Overkill when in "bloodwrath". Accidently offending people in various ways. Staying up all night, or really late.

Where does your character live?: In or around Europe, usually on the rooftops. If he's not in a city, he likes to sleep in the forests. He also stays at the Fallen Talon HQ a lot, all the top assassins get their own rooms.
How was your character brought up?: Brutally, he was beaten if he messed up when he was in training at FT, and he was always picked on in school, which led to a lot of fights, fights he usually won. He was a secret to the world, and his family(ies) would pass care of him down through the generations until he was almost old enough to live on his own.
Where does your character come from?: Well, he lived in Europe with his "real family" for as long as he can remember, but he has since been told that he was born in the same dimension the Roth family is from, dimension 45565.

Toryn stood on top of a rooftop, looking westward, waiting, waiting for the car below to leave. He had been hired to kill Mayor Telus, a strange, short man, that wore a spectacle on his left eye. The reason behind the future death of the man was unknown to Toryn, he did not know, and did not care, all that worried him was the amount of money he recieved in the end. Toryn heard the creak of the car's rusty door opening, and glanced down, he saw a guard help the mayor into the car, then gently close the door. The guard walked around to the other side of the vehicle and opened the driver door, making the same sound as before. This was followed by a slam of the driver's door, and a low rumble of the car starting. Time to move... thought Toryn as he watched the car pull away, he followed it on rooftop, running and jumping from building to building. The night was cold, and the streets were lit only by the faint light of lanterns that lined them. The wind blew hard, causing Toryn to have to balance carefully atop the flat space of the many roofs of Paris. The car stopped at an intersection, and turned left, Toryn had to think quickly, he was on the right of the car, and there was a road between him and the building he needed to get to, to continue the chase. He contemplated throwing a rope, but knew it would take too long. So he jumped, the wind was so strong, it felt like it was almost moving him in mid-air. He landed on the side of the building across the street, and grabbed onto a canopy, with which he used to swing himself over the edge. He landed lightly on the top of the building, only pausing to look at the ridiculous distance he had just jumped. Wow... he thought with a smile, which was uncommmon for him these days. He realized he was lingering, and took off at a run in pursuit of the automobile and it's passenger, the man he was hired to kill, the Mayor.

I tried to come up with the DOB using Shadow's, check it pl0x! I also used your dimension as the place he was born, hope you don't mind...

If you have an open character who might work as his potential love intrest, that would be helpful, it is often easier to do romance stuff with other RPers than between two of your own characters... lolmaybe Raven... haha... wwiieeerrrddd....

Take a look around the site and you'll see 'Forest', 'Ocean', etc. That's where the topics are. The topics created in 'Cities' are in a city, etc.
To make your character, do a topic here. Like Toryn did.
