A new home

"I am sure I know of someone who would be happy to help you." Shadow said politely. She was referring to her sister, Raven, who had been raised by the Synari General, and absolutely loved the art of war and fighting.

"It would be greatly appreciated if I could be directed to her". Prism said as he stared off into the distance.

"I can summon her directly." Shadow said.

"Very well" Prism replied, "I will be waiting".

Shadow turned away, pulling a small pendant from under her shirt. It was a small silver oval, no more than two centimetres in length, and polished like a mirror. She murmured Raven's name, and the face of her sister, almost identical to her except that her violet hair had no white streaks, and it was cut short. They discussed for a few moments, before Shadow stowed the pendant back in its original place and turned back to Toryn.
"She will be here presently."

"Very well". "Her training will be greatly appreciated ", said Prism

A black-fletched arrow landed not far from Prism, between him and Shadow. Another violet haired girl stood on top of a sand dune, bow grasped in one hand.
"So, what's up Shad?"
"This is Prism... He's interested in further training..."
Raven looked at Prism, almost examining him.

Prism bowed, "It is a honor to be able to train under your counsel. I would like to furthr my training to point where I will be able to survive in the real world on my own".

Raven nodded her head briefly.
"Ok, I'll take you on." She said, carefully unstringing her bow.

Prism whipped out his sword and jumped into action, twirling through the air like the blades of a helicopter he spun towards Raven.

Raven had her two-handed sword drawn in a flash, parrying the attack, but not retaliating. She observed his motions, calculating.

Prism, sensing that she was not trying flipped over her back and called down a beam of light, and at the same second slashing at her with all of his strength.

Raven called up a shield of shimmering black magic, lasting only long enough against the light for her to jump out of the way.

"Hmm... Prism doesn't seem to waste time talking," Toryn muttered to Shadow. "Impressive for a beginner, especially one just graduated," Toryn watched Prism's speedy attacks against Raven, already developing his own strategies for fighting both of them, that was just how his mind worked, constantly thinking ahead, even when entirely unnecessary.

Shadow nodded once, watching her sister. She had dueled Raven many times, as well as fought side by side many times.

Seeing an opening when Raven leaped out of the way Prism lunged forward swinging his bade towards Ravens head.

Raven leant back quickly, avoiding the blade before swinging her own in a short, neat arc towards Prism's stomach.

Prism, seeing the attack back flipped out of the way just in time before he got his gut sliced open, " this is going to be harder that I expected" Prism thought to himself as he avoided another attack.

Raven began to take the offensive, slipping into a sequence of random attacks and dodges, moving through each move with the grace of a dancer. She would never slip into a pattern, aiming for a different part of Prism with each short swipe of her sword.

An incredible fighter, Toryn thought. He was impressed how she never did the same thing more than once. Her skills were top notch as well.

It was all Prism could do to avoid the attacks of Raven. He looked for a pattern in her movements but could find nothing, as he was blocking an attack he called down a ray of light and formed another shimmering sword into his hand, now jumping and slashing with all of his might Prism whirrled around in a blur of motion as he avoided and retaliated attacks.

Raven continued her barrage, determined not to give up or allow Prism to find a loophole in her defenses or her attacks. She wasn't tiring, not even close, but if it continued for much longer have, she thought that she may have to call an end otthe fight.

Prism moving faster that ever slashed and stabbed with all his might, weapons glowing from the light energy that was emitting out of him. he was calling on a beam of light when he felt a cold feeling near on his right cheek, feeling blood trickling down he went into a fury of blades and beams (not chaos just fast) jumping dodging and swinging he would not give up.

Raven dropped her sword, resorting to her shimmering black magic to defend herself. Shadow watched from the sand dune, wondering whether she should call an end to the fight or not.
