Twin-lunar despotism.

Raven just looked at the part angel for a moment before taking a small vial of a pale blue potion off her belt. She handed it over to Vladimir, explaining briefly that it was a fairly powerful but short term sleeping potion. With that, she leant her head back against the seat, closing her eyes and retreating into her mind. A look of calmness washed over her face, smoothing out the frown that seemed to be ever present.

Vladimir hesitantly took the blue liquid-filled vial between thumb and index, before inspecting it closely. He shook it slightly, still gazing at it like a child and a toy. Sighing and rolling his eyes, Vladimir took the vial to his mouth and quickly chugged the liquid down. It had a strong taste that would leave a bitter scent in his mouth for months, but as long as he was not going to have to experiment the flight, he would do anything.
Cautiously placing the vial in one of the tight pockets of his leather trousers, he rested against the chair and closed his eyes.

Raven had opened one eye slightly to watchVladimir, but she then closed it agisn, reassured that she could meditate in peace, without the threat of having a completely mad part angel sitting next to her. Her facial expression relaxed, becoming calm.

The air vehicle rumbled and puffed, starting to move. Vladimir's hands tensed by reflex, and he had to mutter to himself a few words before calming down again. His eyes had open in a thin opening, scanning his surroundings warily. Relaxing, Vladimir shifted his bag onto the ground beside his feet, getting the weight off from his lap. He curled his arms to his lap, lying his hands on his knees as he sighed.

Raven made sure that her seatbelt was fastened before she went back to her sleep like state. She sighed silently. Now to chatch up on some sleep she had been losing progressivly over the last few weeks with everything going on in the clan. She just hoped that Vladimir wouldn't wake up too soon.

After a few minutes, the plane lifted and roared away. Vladimir opened his eyes as wide as he could to make sure that his own seatbelt was attached. Realizing that it was, he tightened it to the maximum, feeling only a tad better than before. Vladimir then closed his eyes, resting again. He could feel the liquid doing its work inside his body, even though he didn't think it would work. With him, things always seemed to go wrong.

Raven slept on peacefully, head bowed and hands folded over her stomach. The aircraft levelled its flight, proceeding at a regular speed. The seatbelt sign blinked off, but the demoness wasn't awake to see it. She felt no danger from being in the air. After all, she was a raven morph and she went out flying with the pegusi often enough after all.

Vladimir still wasn't sleeping.
He didn't know whether it was just the potion not working, or if the potion's effects were dissipated by his fear of flights. He was sure sleepy, but his eyes were still partially open. Vladimir's eyelids fell every once in a while, totally covering his eyes, just to shoot open once again, in a reflex to stay awake at all costs. This reflex went in contradiction to his will.
Vladimir grumbled to himself, opening his eyes slowly, to gaze at the bag at his feet.

Raven felt something nagging at the back of her mind and opened her eyes, scratching discreetly behind one ear. She looked around, looking for the cause of the nagging feeling, but so far, she could see nothing. She glanced up at the screen telling the passengers how long their flight was going to last. They hadn't been in the air for an hour yet. SHe soghed. THis was going to be a long flight...

Vladimir felt his throat dry. Something that always happened when he was scared or sensing foreboding events. Blinking tiredly, h curled over and grabbed the bag, opening it as quickly as he could, glancing inside. He took one of the bottles filled with water, and put the bag back to his feet. He gazed at the bottle, thinking that he really should of taken plastic ones. They were much easier to carry.

Raven had closed her eyes again, unable to find the source of the nagging feeling. Unfortunately, she couldn't fall asleep then, the feeling was still there. An irritating scratch at the back of her mind. She frowned, deciging just to keep her eyes closed until she fell asleep again.

Vladimir opened the bottle and gulped down the water to quench his thirst. He took three gulps, before deciding to take again another three. He then closed the bottle once again, letting out a sigh of relief. He wasn't thirsty any more. He glanced at the small screen which indicated the hours of flight left. Mumbling something incomprehensibly under his voice, he lowered his head. He noticed a big red X marked in marker on the bottle.
Vladimir frowned slightly, turning the bottle in his hands. Blinking, he tried to remember why he had drawn an X on there.

Raven smelt something as soon as Vladimir opened the bottle. She opened her eyes, looking at it with a frown, trying to place the smell. Then she remembered, and her eyes widened. The sting of the smell made her feel dizzy. It was Holy Water, a deadly substance to demons.

Vladimir remembered. His eyes widened in surprise and even more fear, and he felt a twinge in his left arm. He quickly dropped the bottle into the bag, snatching his gloved arm with his right hand. The tips of his fingers started to go white. Vladimir's hair started fading to black, beginning by the root of his hair. Shaking, Vladimir turned his head to Raven.
"Raven," he murmured, just as pale blue markings started to crawl past the first half of his face, "get out of here. Now."

"Why?" Raven asked, one hand keeping the edge of her cloak over her nose to block out the ever present smell of the holy water. "The only thing here is that smell." Of course, Raven had only ever been the brains of the clan when it came to planning battle strategies.

"NOW!" Vladimir yelled, sharp white fangs growing in the place of his canines. His glove was now completely white, and his eyes were slowly turning black. His pupils and irises went white as the pale blue markings crossed his face. His hair turned black.
Vladimir held his breath, knowing it was one possibility to make the transformation falter. The people in the plane, sitting near Vladimir, turned their eyes to him. Vladimir felt faint, and he let out a heavy gasp past his now blue lips.

Raven blinked a few times before she finally understood what was going on. Slowly, she unbuckled her safety belt, her violet eyes not leaving Vladimir, and stood up, starting to back away.

Nightmare was out flying, enjoying the full use of her wings again. Being dead was fairly boring given that no one could really see you. They sort of say you, but ony as a shadow out of the corner of their eyes. She spotted a passenger jet rumbling its way past and decided to have a little fun with the passengers. She ended up with more than she bargained for.

Getting into the aircraft was easy. She went through the wall. It was harder for her than for most dead people as she had retained some of her solidity, but she still managed to walk through things with a little effort. It was then that she saw the violet haired woman standing up, moving away from the man next to her.

Vladimir's skin went pale, and the blue marks stretched across the whole of his body. His glove shone white, and Vladimir fell limp against the seat up front. He twitched, and his eyes opened, black, devoid of any niceness. Blinking once, a cruel sneer twisted the corner of Vladimir's lip. He stood up, laying one gentle hand on the top of the seat of the man up front.
Everyone was staring at him, with either awe or just sheer terror. It was comprehensible, though. Not many people were used to having a nearly normal man who looked lost turn into another being with one of the most vicious expressions ever seen.
Damascus' eyes locked onto Raven's. The sneer only became a crooked grin as he slipped his hand past the purple trenchcoat, and lifted a shining white firearm, before pointing it at Raven.
"Die, demon," he uttered menacingly.

Shadow looked at what had previously been Vladimir, and only two words crossed her mind. Oh c**p. She summoned her magic, ignoring the gasps from the other passengers on the jet.

Nightmare just stood there, unnoticed by everyone. She watched as the man stood up and the dead angel gasped. Damascus! The girl stood there, half in shock, wondering what he was doing on a passenger jet.

Damascus' sneer only grew, his eyes widening with hatred for the demoness. Quickly flicking the security off the gun, he then shot three times. Three beams of incandescent light flared from the cannon, each pointing at one unique and same spot: Raven's head. They each seemed as if they were controlled, moving as quick as lightning towards their target.

Raven's magic grew into a shield around herself, taking the brunt of the three blasts as she dived out of the way, but one blast hit her forearm. The demoness cried out briefly before her eyes narrowed. Taking a deep breath, the demoness teleported to the other end of the aircraft, out of range and sight of Damascus.
Nightmare couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Damascus..." She said softly. She guessed that he wouldn't be able to see her, just like the rest of the wordl's population.

Damascus growled at Raven as she teleported away. He could still sense her, meaning that she mustn't have gone far. His sneer broke into a frown as the gentle voice came to his ears, and he turned his head to the woman. His eyes widened in shock, in an unrecognizable emotion between fear and anger. He scowled at Nightmare.
"Claire!" he snarled, "What the heck are you doing here?!"

Nightmare's coal-black wings flared slightly in anger as she narrowed her eyes.
"How can you see me, Damascus?" She snarled back, purposfully ignoring his question. She couldn't understand why. He wasn't dead, he looked too solid, unlike most of the other ghosts she had seen who all had a slighty transparent look to them. Damascus was obviously not.

Damascus hissed back. "Because I'm- Gah! Drop it!" Damascus fiercely turned around gripping the colt tightly. "I have more serious business than to be chatting with you!" Damascus stormed in direction of the air-vehicle's back, where he sensed Raven's demonic aura coming from. Slamming doors open and stomping forwards without any other sign than his sadistic expression on his face, he approached.
"Ooooh... Demoooon..." he hummed, his sneer becoming wider, "Get out, get out, wherever you are..."

Raven was nursing her wounds down in the cargo bay, but she sensed the angelic aura approaching rapidly. She looked around in desperation for a weapon that she could use. Seeing nothing, she hid herself between the cargo crates. It was only then that she remembered what day it was, and she swore out loud.

Nightmare stormed after Damascus.
"Well guess what? I'm not finished with you, you slimy excuse for an angel!" She fumed.
