Deep in the Forest

Holly watched, now silent, biting her lip.

Alba jumped. The sound cut through her like the sharp blade of a simitar. SHe couldn't stand people screaming. The found of fear in Shadow's voice was unmistakable.
Alba looked away and buried her face into Vrael's shoulder.

Vrael wrapped Alba in his arms, trying not to look at Shadow. The ex-demoness was feverishly trying to summon her magic, but couldn't even create the smallest of sparks.

"What are we gonna do?" asked Alba in a hoars whisper.

Holly suddenly longed for Natalie ...

*spooky eyes*

Shadow's icy blue eyes narrowed.
"We are going to kick some butt."
"Not likely Ally, you're not going anywhere util you rest your mind!"

"We need to do something! She can't stay like this!"

Alba looked at Vrael.
"You can stay with your sister if you want. Il go back to the ministry with the others."

Hayley nodded, "Me too," she said, "And we'll...uh, kick some butt," she added.

"No, I shall accompany you." Vrael said firmly before turning to his brother. "Daniel, you must stay with Allyssianne." There was a mutter from Shaeman about why couldn't Raven do it, but Raven answered that herself with a glare.

Alba walked to the entrance of the cave and looked at the snow swirling down in the cold night air. She sighed.
"How do we get back?" she asked no one in particular, "We're in the flippin' NORTH POLE!"

"I think getting Shad's other half is a little more important," Holly said, one eyebrow raised.

"That's what i ment! Getting back to Shadow's deamon half!"

Shaeman looked murderous as Holly used his 'proper' name, but Raven's threats were enough for him to curb his hunger for revenge...

"I teleport us." Raven said. "Simple."
