Under the city streets.

Jamie orbed under the city streets, into the dark demon areas of the underworld. He smiled as everone bowed... there was up sides to his father being the demon he was.

Shadow walked under the streets, mingling with the crowd. She had the hood on her black cloak pulled low over her face to hide who she was as she picked her way though the demonic domain of the under city.

Jamie walked on through the crowded under world and smiled broadly at the other demons bowing to him. He hoped to see someone... he hoped that she'd be here...

Shadow kept her head down. Most people, even in the demonic community were afraid of her, for her parentage. She swallowed hard and pulled her hood lower over her face, looking at the ground.

Jamie walked on in the direction on his father... his head still moving frantically from the left to right. He was looking for his love.

Shadow felt someone following her, and she started to look over her shoulder to see who it was, but some one put their hands on her shoulders, spinning her round and slamming her into a wall. Her hood fell back, her violet hair spilling over her shoulders as her head also hit the wall. She glared at her assailant, her magic crackling around her. The boy who had pinned her summoned his own around himself, but Shadow exploded, her magic throwing him away. The surrounding demons turned to look at her with wide eyes as she breathed heavily, her head high.

Holly decided she would bound in and ruin the beautiful moment, and did so, cocking her head in time to the music.
SHe stopped at the sight of Shadow and looked at her interestedly.

Shadow flicked her waist length hair back over her shoulders, her face still looking like thunder.

Jamie walked along the corridor, his head still spinnig from left to right... his face was getting a little impatient now... he needed to see her.

Shadow scowled and started to make her way along to where her father and her love's father were seated. The demons around her parted like a wave as she strode forwards, not bothering to put her hood back up to hide her face. She arrived at the two thrones and knelt on one knee, bowing her head in front of her father.

Jamie gave up on the 'trying to find Shadow' trait and walked towards the place wrre his father was.... he walked around the corner... only to see that Shadow was there, on one knee between them. he looked in disbelieve at the girl "Shadow... you don't have to vow before these people they're both your fathers, well they will be soon..." he whispered the last bit and smiled at her.. he was now face to face with her

Shadow stood up, and turned to face Jamie. She allowed herself to smile slightly, but was afraid of showing too much affection in front of her father for fear of being punished.

Jamie put his hand to her face... he could hear her fathers low purr of anger but he wasn't looking at him. He only smiled at her and put his hand down. He walked over to his father.
"Father" he said loudly
"Son" he replied

Jamie and his father spoke in hush for a while and Jamie turned to shadow... " Were you here for any reason or can we go on now?" he asked her

Natalie entered, reading a book and looking beautiful...
She smiled at everyone over her book.

Shadow's face clouded over.
"I arrived as my father summoned me." The demon nodded, a scowl permanently etched onto his face.

Jamie turned to look at her father... "and why did you summon her may I ask?" he asked him a sacrcastic note in his voice

Kar snarled at Jamie, but made no move to harm him.
"We have business that is no concern of yours." He said in his low gutteral, rasping voice. Shadow's face remained impassive and her mind blocked, allowing no discovery of the 'business'.

"may i remind you that I have every right to know what you ask my future wife to do.. i am afraid to be old fashioned but what she does is of my concern now not yours!" he snarled back a him

"Then that's too bad." Kar said standing up. He cast a withering look at Shadow, who bowed her head and strode into one of the neighboring tunnels, Kar following. He cast a shield over the entrance to stop anyone intervening.

Jamie narrowed his eyes at Shadow when she walked into the tunnel, she was so inconsistant with his rules. She obayed her father's rules but not his? What was the demon world comming too?

Shadow stood in the middle of the tunnel, staring fixedly at the wall as her father prowled around her in a circle. He couldn't kill her, and she didn't fear pain anymore. He stopped in front of her, his four eyes narrowed. Kar snarled slightly at her attitude.

Jamie walked over to the entranbce of the cave that Shadow had walked into... He knew he couldn't walk in but it didn't stop him seeing what was happening did it? He smiled as he saw Shadow stand up proud, it was just what her father needed.


"Son... It would be better for you to leave them...
"why?" jamie replied to his fathers comment, he sounded a little too solemn

"Well, what would you do should something 'happen' to your little boyfriend?" Kar said, knowing the impact the words would have on his daughter. True enough, Shadow snarled, her eyes flashing in anger.
"You will not harm him." She growled. Kar snarled, his fist colliding with her temple, sending her stumbling back. She put a hand up to her head, and glared at Kar. He snarled back at her, until Shadow shot her magic at him, throwing him back. She took down the shield blocking the entrance and walked out, pulling her hood over her face.

Jamie looked at his father his attention moved from shadow. He turned when he heard something fall, or rather someone. He snarled at Kar when he walked out... but walked on behind Shadow when she left...
"Are you okay?" he asked when he was out of earshot

Shadow kept a scowl on her face and didn't speak until she knew they were out of earshot from the other demons. She never knew who her father's spies were. There were too many. She turned to Jamie.
"I'll be ok." She assured him.
