Shadow appeared soon after.
"Twi, what's up?"

Twilight looked absolutely terrified confronted with the three adults.

"I was JUST about to call you." Holly said, "Ironic that you should arrive. Hi by the way."

Arnold pointed at Twilight.
"Show them!" she mouthed.

Natalie frowned.
"Do I want to know?" she asked.

Twilight showed them the scar she had showed Tomorrow and Arnold.

Shadow scowled.
"How many more?"
"Seventy-nine."

"SEVENTY-"
Holly's mouth was open.
"WAS IT RAE-RAE?" she asked threateningly.
Without waiting for an answer, she went in search of her.
Still wearing her sheet.

Shadow grabbed Holly before her friend could disappear.
"That will acheive strictly nothing."

"Ow." Holly commented, "Okay, then let me do that LATER. OH! TAKE HER TO COURT! She can live with you!"

Natalie scowled.
"WHY THE HELL?!?!" she yelled.

"Taking Raven to court will bring our whole family into the light and into danger." Shadow said, starting to pace. "I cannot for the life of me think why Raven would do this."
"Because I don't want to fight."
"Typical Raven."

"Then screw the court, take her home with you anyway!" Holly said earnestly.

"She's a b*tch... Raven I mean..." said Natalie, not caring that her child was present...

"No, we will settle this Demonic way." Shadow growled. "Everybody, outside, by the black lake at midnight. We're going to duel."

"All of us?" Natalie asked, ready to fight.

"No. Raven and I. It is the custom of demons." Shadow said. "But there must be people there to referee."

"Can I get dressed first?" Holly whispered hopefully.

"I'll do that..." Natalie volunteered, "ref I mean...".

"Yes Holly." Shadow said. "I'll see you down there. I gotta get the family together."

"Okay."
Holly nodded at the gang and apparated away.

"Put your cloak on Twilight." Shadow said gently. The eleven-year-old did as she was told, and the pair vanished, teleporting to the black lake.

Natalie apparated down to the lake immediately.

Holly too, arrived at the lake, with Ash and Arnold in tow.

The demonic family was already assembled there. Shadow, Archangel, Onyx, Twilight, Eclipse, Raven, Shaeman and Vrael.

Holly stood at Shadow's side.
"What did we miss?" she whispered, glaring at Raven.

Tomorrow jumped out her window lightly, and landed on the ground. She slipped into the little crowd, hoping her mother had not seen her little stunt.

"Nothing." Shadow muttered back. "This is just about to start."

Raven and Eclipse stood on one side, the rest on the other side. Twilight stood apart, standing next to Natalie as Shadow had instructed. Vrael stepped forwards, between the two sides.
"Demons! I am Vrael Panther James Mercian, Bringer of the Night! We congregate here to duel over custody of one Twilight Doe Arias Roth. The duelers will identify themselves."
Shadow stepped forwards to present herself.
"I am Shadow Wolf Allyssianne Roth, Princess of Darkness! I fight for the protection of Twilight Roth!"

Raven glared at her sister.
"I am Raven Rachel Syenna Roth! I fight to keep my own daughter!"
"Judges present yourselves." Vrael said clearly. Shaeman stepped forwards, then Archangel, then Onyx.
"I am Shaeman Pegasus Daniel Mercian. I pledge to judge this duel as I see right."
"I am Archangel Dove Holly Roth, and I pledge to judge this duel as I see right."
"I am Onyx Wolf Hazel Roth, and I pledge to judge this duel as I see right."
