Hogwarts: Next Generation

"HOLLY BRISTOL PRINCESS OF DAMN ALL!!" Holly yelled for effect. Things like this often happened when she became excited.

"Do you pledge to be a judge?" Vrael asked.

"Who me? Whatever." Holly said shrugging, "I'm just here for the free ice-cream."

Natalie sighed, and shrugged
"NATALIE PATTERSON!" she yelled, "I PLEDGE TO JUDGE!"

"Then please be quiet." Vrael replied. He nodded once at Natalie. "You have ten minutes to prepare. and choose your second warriors."

Shadow nodded and turned to the group.
"Ok, I have my weapons, Raven's not going to give up without a fight though..."

"What's a second warrior?" Holly whispered to Natalie.

Natalie took on step back, to the edge of the group.
Tomorrow followed her mum.
"A helper..." Natalie told Holly, "I right hand man..."

"The person who continues the battle if I am killed." Shadow explained, checking her three swords.

"Oh." Holly said, and pulled Ash after them.

"She'll be fine..." Natalie whispered.

"Onyx, I'm entrusting Twilight to your care. Keep her mind safe. Archangel, you're with me." Shadow said, strapping two swords to her back and one to her hip.

"She's so cool." Holly commented, about Shadow.

Natalie hugged Shadow.
"Be safe out there..." she said quietly.

Archangel disappeared for a split second as Shadow returned Natalie's hug, and returned with a helm, handing it to Shadow. The demoness put on the helm, which had been fashioned to resemble a wolf head.
"Let the battle commence." She said jokingly, placing herself about 20 metres away from Raven.

Holly watched, biting her lip in worry.
Ash stood in front of her, as if to protect.
"I'm not actually fighting you know." Holly said to him.
"I know."

Natalie stood back beside Twilight and Tomorrow. She turned to Holly.
"We have to resist...this is Shadow's fight..." she said quietly.

"I know." Holly said, "It's hard though....If Rae-Rae tries anything serious...."
She trailed off.

"i know...it'll be hard...want to...hold hands...to make sure?" Natalie asked.

"If anyone interferes, the duel is void and we lose the chance to help Twi." Onyx warned. "Only Arc can intervene if Shadow is fatally injured or dead."

Shadow and Raven faced each other. They bowed.
"Synari Antetren Ilias." Shadow said clearly, which Raven spat back at her. Vrael stood to the side.
"Archen var dalies cilencen!"

Raven struck first, dealing a blow of magic which Shadow only just managed to avoid.

"That's your answer to everything." Holly joked, and rested her chin on Ash's head to watch the battle properly.

Natalie sighed.
She put an arm around Tomorrow.

Shadow and Raven battled on, until a cloud of dust was obscuring them. That was, until there was a yell of pain. The dust started to settle, and Shadow was lying on the ground.

Holly stood up, enraged.
"FOUL!" she shouted.

"Ligitemate move." Archangel said, she and Onyx running out. Onyx brought back Shadow's body, and Archangel stood in front of Raven.

Natalie checked.
"She hasn't crossed the line Holly..." said Natalie quietly, "not a foul."
Natalie looked at Shadow.
"Oh...lord...she's not..." she said.
