Hogwarts: Next Generation

"LIAR!" Holly yelled, convinced she was right, "If Raven makes it out of this alive she'll probably regret it."
"Mum, calm down she's not dead." Ash said.

"Exactly...and Holly...I don't lie..." said Natalie, "so calm down..."

"Erm..." Onyx said. "Raven knows all the dirty triks, including how to mask fatal bolts of magic."

Archangel suqared her shoulders, glaring at her aunt.
"Bring the noise." She said, adopting a combat position.

"The h*e." Holly muttered, and calmed down.

"So... er... Raven... killed her..." Onyx said.

Archangel and Raven were locked in a visious combat, neither of them distencing themselves enough to use magic. Feet and fists were flying in a fatal dance.

"What? No she didn't!" Holly said, rolling her eyes, "Don't be an eejit!"
"Uh....mu-um...." Ash said, "She looks serious,"

Natalie kneeled next to Shadow and checked for any sighs of life.
"PLEASE! DON'T! BE! DEAD!" Natalie yelled over the noise, tears in her eyes.

Onyx bent over Shadow, checking her over.
"Very weak heart beat." She concluded.

Holly breathed out.
A moment ago, she had taken several steps towards Raven, wand outstretched. She calmed down again.

There was a triumphant shout as Archangel stood over an unconscious Raven, grinning madly.

"But she's still got one..." muttered Natalie, taking out her wand, "Palifitarious," she said, pointing it at Shadow, hopefully sending a small controlled pumping motion to Shadow's chest...to help keep her alive while Natalie worked on her.

"What happened?" Holly asked, suddenly very surprised, "Did you WIN?!"

"Yes...she did," Natalie said quietly, smiling slightly over her shoulder at Archangel.

Holly's mouth fell open.
"She's pretty." Ash whispered, mouth open too, "Can you get me a date with her mum?"

Archangel grinned at Natalie, and then frowned at Eclipse. The two girls stood opposite each other, ready to fight.

Natalie silently cast several spells on Shadow to make sure she couldn't be in any kind of pain.

Holly resumed her position at the edge of the battlefield with Ash, and watched.

The battle between Archangel and Eclipse lasted about five minutes before Archangel had her foot squarely between Eclipse's shoulder blades.

Natalie continued to work on Shadow, timing her heart-beat and checking every so often to see if she was breathing and, then, after a while, she gave her a potion to cool her down. She then out her cloak over Shadow, and stayed with her, not going back to the battle.

"I've always liked her." Holly commented.

Natalie began to hum softly to Shadow....it was a muggle tune...but she had always liked it.

Vrael declared Shadow's side the winner, and Archangel then went directly to Shadow.
"Is she ok?"

"Hopefully." Holly commented, "Good job back there."

"She'll live...I've stablised her...hopefully...time will tell," said Natalie softly.

Archangel nodded, watching Raven walking away, half supported by Eclipse.
