The funeral (10 years later)

Archangel shrugged.

Natalie looked at Holly.
"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS PUT YOURSELF BEFORE ME!?!'' Natalie yelled suddenly, "I CAN ABOUT SHADOW JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DO!"

"Don't shout. Please." Twilight said quietly, taking Archangel's hand.

"Sorry..." said Natalie, feeling ashamed of her irresponsibility.

The three demons present seemed to be lost in their thoughts again. Shadow strode far away from the graves.

Natalie fought with herself in her head whether to go after Shadow or not.
In the mean-time, Harmony had walked quietly into the forest, humming a heart-melting tune.

"What? When do I eve do that?" Holly asked, eyebrows raised.

Shadow sat under a tree, looking at her own battle sword. She wondered how long it would be before it was driven into the ground at the head of her grave.

Natalie was lost in thought.

Harmony continued to walk...even skip, humming her tune.
Once she saw Shadow, she stopped humming and walking.
"Your upset, aren't you?" said Harmony quietly in her mystifying voice.

((Ok people...keep in mind, Harmony is an unusal child...more unusual that Tomorrow and Natalie put together....she's more like a mix of myself, and Luna Lovegood.))

Shadow looked up at Harmony.
"Go back to your mother." She replied.

((Yeah yeh, ignore holly like))

"Well?" Holly demaded.

"Is there anything I may help you with?" Harmony asked, setting asside the order in which she had just been given.

Natalie looked at Holly.
"Well...only sometimes..." said Natalie.

Shadow turned her back to Harmony, and drove the sword through her heart.

Harmony walked over to Shadow calmly and waved a hand over Shadow's face.
"No response...that can't be good...ok...lets see," said Harmony, staring calmly at Shadow.
She took off her headbands.
They transformed into her fairies.
"I wish that Shadow was liberated of the sword...and that the blow is not fatal," said Harmony.
The fairies looked puzzled.
Harmony sighed.
"I wish the big pointy thing was not through Shadow's heart and that she'll not be in pain and will live."
The fairy's waved their wands, but it did not work.
"We can't," said the pink fairy, "according the the rules...we cannot take away what someone wants."
"Fine, I shall do it myself," said Harmony.
She calmly hit Shadow hard enough on the head that it would knock her out, but soft enough that it wouldn't kill her.

Shadow didn't respond.

"Ok then...we do this the old fashioned way," said Harmony quietly.
She grabbed Shadow's wrist and pulled sharply, knowing that any actions in this pain were involentary, and she hoped the sword would come out of Shadow.

The sword slipped, and fellout of the wound to land with a thud on the grass, but there was no reaction from Shadow.

Harmony took her cardigan, and used it to apply pressure the Shadow's wound.
"If you live through this, it would be most kind of you to tell my mother why my best cardigan is covered in blood," whispered Harmony, leaning Shadow backward slightly.

Shadow's head lolled to one side.

Twilight stiffened, and burst into tears.

Unaware of this, Holly and Ash looked at Natalie.
"What just happened?"

Archangel hugged Twilight close, trying to comfort her.

Natalie apparated to Shadow, sensing the mind connection close.
When she reached the clearing, she saw Shadow...unconcious....
Fairies...who quickly changed into cats...
Harmony...holding her good cardigan all covered in blood...

This was not a pretty scene.
Natalie got quickly to work on Shadow.
"I did all I could mummy," said the little girl.
"I know sweety...go back to the clearing," said Natalie, trying to revive Shadow.
"Enervate," she said, pointing her wand at Shadow's chest while putting pressure on it slightly to try and stop the bleeding.

Archangel had run to Natalie's side, and tried to help.
"That heart has stopped beating." She muttered.

"I can see that..." said Natalie, "cardiac arrest...muggle CPR is not an option due to the bleeding...I'll have to operate of her...their is one way...and I knew it would come in handy one day..." said Natalie.

Natalie looked at the cats she knew were fairies, and then at Harmony.
"Sweetie...I need you to wish for something...remember mummy told you how she doesn't need her heart?"

"Yes...I remember," said the little girl.
"I need you told wish it out," said Natalie, "wish it out of my body."

Harmony stared at her mother for a moment, and then looked at the fairies.
"Cosmo...Wanda...can you do that?" she asked.
The cat-fairies raised their wands.

The a moment, there was a heart in Natalie's hand...
"You sure it'll still work?...you haven't been using it." said Tomorrow.
"I just needs someone who needs it...then it'll work," said Natalie, getting to work, starting an open-heart surgery session right there on that grass...
