Temple on the mountain top.

Shadow pulled herself upright.
"I'll go in first, I can handle him."

"No!" Jamie stopped her grabbing her arms, "He knows you too well! We'll go in together all four of us, then we're less of a threat..."

"NO!" Shadow said. "You saw what he did last time, I won't let you go through that again!"

"Ooooh I geddit now." Holly said, "Oooh ... Surprise attack?"

"No Holly. Just me and my father." Shadow said.

"Yes... but we know what he did to you in the times he caught you, its not happening again. Not exactly Holly he probibly already knows we're here." Jamie whispered turning to Holly.

Before anyone would have been able to stop her, Shadow ran off.

Jamie ran after her, he signalled for the others to join him,

Holly dragged Natalie after them, for she seemed to have become immobile.

Natalie stayed silent.

Shadow knew her way around the temple, and she could sense that she was getting closer to Kar. She ran into a chamber, and faced him.

Jamie ran and caught up with Shadow, just before she ran theough the door. He pulled her to a stop before throughing himself in the doorway showing himself to Kar. he then pulled Shadow into view.

Kar narrowed his four eyes.
"Well, the team returns. Where's the Serpent?"

Jamie looked at Shadow... then back to Kar. "She's even more imortal than you!" Jamie laughed referring to the fact that Violet was now a vampire.

Kar smirked.
"So there are only two of you now. This is going to be evn easier."

"May I remind you that we killed you last time, or at least we thought we did..."

"Hi." Holly said, arriving out of breath, "Three actually."

"But you didn't. Now bring the princess to me." Kar said.

Jamie looked stunned "The princess?"

"Shadow." Kar snarled.

"I dont think so... She's not the princess of your kingdom!"

"I am." Shadow said quietly.
"Give her to me." Kar snarled.

"Not now your not..." Jamie told her...
"Make me.."

Kar strode forwards, obviously annoyed. He grabbed Jamie, throwing him away.

Jamie flew into the wall, and knocked his head, the pain was startling and he didn't really know what to do. He put his hand on the spot where the pain was, it was wet, he was bleeding.
