The Truth of Death-- CONTINUED.

Bart sat next to Shadow. He thought about the prophecy, as everybody did at this time. They were all going to die in the month that come. Yepee. Bart lowered his head, and scratched at the floor. Nothing we're able to do. Congratulations, Bart, you are now even more useless.

SHadow sat down in her usual position: Back against a wall, one leg bent to her chest, the other curled underneath it. One arm rested on the bent leg. She rested her head against the wall behind her, trying not to think of the prophecy. As usual, it was impossible.

Bart flexed his right leg, and laid his right arm on it. He leaned down on his second arm, which pushed down onto the ciment of the building. His left leg was left outstreched before him. His eyes gleamed, and his tail flicked two times. The prophecy. Gah, why?

Shadow closed her eyes again, trying to think. She was remembering her time in Synairn, which she deeply wanted to forget. A flash of pain crossed her face, from both her leg and her memory.

Bart stood there, thinking about his daily life he had before he was a Kraferr. Old days. Heh.
He thought about the times he went to school. He still did, but only the replica did this. he wondered what the replica was doing now.

Shadow slipped into a doze, and then into sleep. The days and injuries had tired her out, and the peace of sleep would sooth her troubled mind.

Bart watched Shadow carefully go into sleep. He watched her with his red eyes. Dominique was sitting down next to him, looking at Shadow, also.
'Bart,' she began.
'Mh?'
'Who is Shadow, really?'
Bart thought a bit.
'If I said the truth you wouldn't beleive me.'
'Keep talking.'
'Shadow is a part demon. Her last name is Roth. She's way older than she looks. She's in her three hundred years old, I think.'
'Ah, I get what you said earlier.'
'Told ya'.'
'Where did you meet her?'
'Kind of randomly, really. I was waiting for a Kraferr shaman to do my replica,' Bart explained, 'And she was just passing. She helped me throughout my quest, and I've decided to help her out, too. But it seems like I can't do anything.'
Dominique turned her head to Bart.
'Of course you can do something.'
Bart smiled at that. 'Thanks,' he answered simply.

Shadow opened one eye at the mention of her name. She silently listened in on the conversation, but didn't give any clues as to the fact that she was awake. She closed the eye again, sighing.

Dominique's mind wandered off for a moment, then came back to reality.
'If she's a demon, where does she come from?'
Bart thought a bit.
'Can't remember, sorry.' Bart answered, lifting his hand up.
'It's okay.'
Bart looked at Shadow. She looked peaceful when sleeping. When she was awake, though, she looked way different. Eh, people aren't themselves when they don't think about it.

Shadow had drifted into sleep again, her breathing silent and almost non-existant. The pain spell she had cast on herself had worn off completely, and the occasional flash of pain crossed her face from the injuries she had managed to aquire throughout the days.

Bart looked out towards the sky. If he was going to help Shadow do her prophecy, he needed to train. Especially since she said it would be hard. He stood up, and helped Dominique stand up. 'Care to help me train?' he asked.
'I don't mind,' answered Dominique briefly.
Bart nodded. He asked, 'How do you do that really silent landing?'
Dominque laughed a bit.
'It's just a matter of training. You'll see, it comes itself.'
Bart smiled. He looked at the building up front. He stood at the rim of nothingness, then he pushed himself off as hard as he could. He landed on the other building, flexing his legs, and using his hands. He landed, making slight noise. I'll do that for quite a while now.

Shadow opened her eyes, looking at Bart. She gave a half smile, standing up. With a limp, she made her way over to the pair, going to watch Bart Train.

Bart jumpde two more times, still landing the same way, still hearing the same slight noise. Hm, he thought. Bart crouched slightly, then jumped to the ceiling of the other building. He soared through the air, did a front flip, outstretched his arms, flexed his legs right before landing.
Bart landed without a sound onto the ground. He fell down just afterwards.
'Did it,' he said, a smile on his face.
'Right,' Dominique answered, 'Now do it faster.'
Bart half closed his eyes. He rolled his eyes, then went onto something else. He outstretched and flexed his fingers into a tight fist. He punched the air once. Then, twice, faster, with the same arm. He crouched slightly.

Shadow watched the training with a slightly amused expression. She sat down again, taking the weight off her leg. Then she thought of something. She stood up again, murmuring the no-pain spell again before she approached Bart from behind, allowing a light noise to echo from her footsteps before launching a roundhouse kick at Bart.

Bart took the roundhouse kick into his shoulder, and he spinned, and then landed onto the ground, on his two feet, and then he caught himself. he rubbed his elbow, but as he got Shadow's message, a big grin appeared onto his face. 'Let the fun begin, Shadow,' he said.
Bart jumped slightly into the air, then fell down near Shadow. he skipped sideways, and then quickly went into the opposite direction. The Kraferric fighting style consisted of trickery. here, Bart was trying to make Shadow attack but miss. Bart kept a hand near his face, and he leaned dangerously close to the ground, turning around Shadow. He jumped at one point behind her, then dashed at her claws sticking outwards.

Shadow dodged his attack, launching her own, a punch aimed at his shoulder. She knew next to nothing of the Kraferric fighting style, whereas Bart probably knew more about the demonic one.

Bart got slightly hit on his shoulder, and he used the force to turn around in the air, giving one low kick to Shadow's feet. Imma gonna getcha. he thought, smiling slightly. Dominique looked at the two. She was remembering Bart's attacks. She could use them later on.

Shadow, slow on her feet with the wound, fell backwards. She snarled in pain for a slight second before she sprang back to her feet, dropping into a crouched position, one hand on the ground to stabilise herself. She suddenly leapt up, turning a somersault over Bart, grabbing his shoulders. If she managed to pull this move off, Bart would be thrown across the roof.

Bart, as he stood up, felt that he was pulled backwards by his elbows. Shadow had jumped over him and grabbed him by behind. He fell backwards, suddenyl back pacing a few times. his tail flicked furiously, whipping the ground. His eyes glistened. 'Eyh!' he cried out. Bart struggled, but Shadow's grip was by far stronger than his elbow muscles.

Shadow let go of Bart, landing in a back flip.
"Expect the unexpected." She said quietly, with a half smile.

Bart fell down on his back. A large thudding noise was heard. His arms dropped to the ground. He coiled up, then stood up. He scratched the back of his head. He looked at Shadow. 'I'll try to remember that,' he answered, with a half smile on the corner of his mouth.

Shadow nodded once before leaving her attack position. Her second spell hadn't lasted. She was too tired to keep up the magic for long enough. She walked back to her previous place, hiding the limp as best she could.

Bart cracked his elbows, then tightened onto his knuckles, and cracked them one by one. He looked at Shadow go back to her ordinary place. As she sat down, he closed his eyes. He looked back again in front of him. He punched once slightly into the air. He then punched two times, faster, with the same arm. he punched two times in the air at the same speed with his two arms. He punched once with his right arm, and ducked and did a lower kick. He pushed down onto his leg, and kicked upwards.
Dominique stared at Bart, noting all the moved he used.

Shadow drifted off into sleep again, needing to replenish her energy, or se would never even put up a half decent fight against Karthragan when the time came.

Bart approached Shadow, and sat right next to her. He was tired. Everybody was. He put his forehead into his palm, and closed his eyes. Dominique sat near Bart, and leaned against a ciment wall. She kept her eyes open on the two. Bart drifted to sleep, still in the same position, his hair falling over his face.
