The holy land.

"Not that I can sense," Archangel said, shrugging. She glanced at Neku, catching the girl's eye and nodding slightly. They were ready to do some serious annoying...

"Well," Vladimir said, continuing, being totally impervious to Archangel and Neku, "We better go and find that holy water, and..." Vladimir lifted one eyebrow at Onyx, "And try to keep out of explosions, all right?" Vladimir took one step forwards, then another, then started walking inside Jerusalem.

"Ooh, explosions," Archangel said, a manic grin on her face. Neku was slightly more reserved with her emotions, but secretly, she was already plotting. Onyx just rolled her eyes, starting to stride after the part angel.

Vladimir rolled his eyes, and continued pacing into the city. It was true that it was a calm city. Was, of course, until you heard the decent explosions and gunshots. But, anyways, Vladimir needed to get that holy water. Not that he thought it was of use, he just had some... Doubts. Like an identity crisis. Vladimir squinted as he felt a weird sensation, and he put his hand up to his heart.

Onyx, Archangel and Neku were striding in a line alongside Vladimir. Archangel and Neku were talking quietly to each other in demonic, obviously plotting.

Vladimir felt uneasy by the two girls behind him, talking about something conspicuously against him, in a language he didn't know about. What made him tingle, though, was not that he didn't know the demonic language, it was that he remembered it from somewhere, else from his last event with Archangle and Onyx.

Archangel suddenly grinned.
"Lock and load!" She said joyously. Onyx groaned.
"You know, I think it may be easier if you tone down the mischeviousness while we're accompanying someone on an important mission?"

Vladimir turned to the twins. "C'mon," he muttered, "Or else we'll get problems... We need to get this thing quickly." Vladimir turned back to the city, and was found, walking by a forced march, his stride long and his pace quick, having a determined treading. His brown hair swished sideways as he moved onwards, further into the holy city.

Neku and Archangel rolled their eyes in synchronisation, but trudged after them whereas Onyx was striding, obviously understanding the importance of the mission. The troublemakers, however, didn't understand how serious the mission was and Onyx was wondering how long it would take them to understand the concept.

Vladimir and the others arrived at a road intersection. Vladimir looked around, looking for a big, religious building, like a church. He didn't see any in sight. He pointed one way.
"My instinct tells us to go this way!" He announced. Not like he had any. He began walking in that direction, still pointing, one arm outstretched.

The three demons looked at each other, but shrugged, following Vladimir.

Vladimir continued down the streets, judging that the explosion was probably a kamikaze or something. He wondered why people wanted this city so much. But, anyways, he wasn't very good with politics. His boots squeaked as they flexed against his legs, as he advanced towards a large building. It had pale bricks for structure, and it stood by a half-skyscraper. It had a pointed top, and a large clock was stuck in the middle of the tower that reached for the sky, slowly getting covered by the smoke of the suicide/accident/whatever Vladimir though of. He felt a low attraction towards the building, like a buzz at the back of his head begging for him to take one step forwards, then take another, and again and again and again. Vladimir gulped, and continued slowly towards the building. His brown hair floated in the breeze, swaying gently sideways, moving his fringes to the side of his face, covering his right ocean-blue eye. His glove fist clenched tightly, as he let his left foot land on the first of the stairs, built in white, slightly graying stone.

Archangel and Onyx had hurried along behind Vladimir, occasionally shooting worried glances at each other. As they approached the place, Onyx grew slightly more and more distressed, even though she tried hard to hide it. Archangel was breathing shaking as they both drew their hoods over their heads in perfect synchronisation.

Vladimir stepped up the stairs of the church, slightly gulping himself. He had never liked churches, even though they were so big, and fugitives could stay in there for shelter. Any religion seemed to not please him. In the worrying manner. Why do people need someone to be controlling them? Vladimir thought, coming from me, who's falsely accused of many, many crimes that I haven't ever done... I don't know. It seems like if there is a God, he's freaking against me.

Vladimir entered the church with no secondary thought, the light pouring out of the windows in many different colors. He looked up at the ceiling, where a large representation was painted. Candles were lit around, but the church was barren. Vladimir saw a small stone sink shape near a wall, and he advanced towards it. He saw that there was water inside. He looked at his reflection. Holy water? He wondered, if I remember correctly, yeah, this should be it...

Onyx was shaking as she walked a few paces behind Vladimir, especially as they entered the church. Archangel coughed a couple of times before covering her mouth with the edge of her cloak, looking around. Neither girl had ever seen the inside of a church, as they had been places strongly avoided. It stank of religion to them, a small which seemed to whack them in the face.

Vladimir turned to Archangel, slightly uncomfortable.
"We don't cough in a church," he explained softly, "nor do we make loud noises, for that matter. We're lucky that there's no one here."
Just after the words were whispered out of Vladimir's lips, a pastor walked by silently, the girl's footsteps not making any sound in the whole building. She casted a glance at Vladimir, before hurrying away, going to do other things that Vladimir did not know of.
"Well, almost no one," Vladimir added quietly. He turned to the water, seemingly more 'watery' than normal. He dipped one finger in it. He took his hand out, and noticed that the finger he had used was from the gloved hand. He shook his head, and took his other hand, dripping two fingers inside. He flicked his finger out of the water, drops plicking gently, breaking the calm surface. He sighed, and did a cross sign over his body, before looking around, and diving one hand into the water.
"At least you won't have to take it," he muttered coldly, taking his gloved hand out of the water, his palm filled with it. He slowly took it to his face, inspecting it. He was hesitant, and he knew that. But a sort of attraction came from the water. He gulped again, glancing at the other demon kin. He closed his eyes tightly, and swallowed the water, like if he was eating nasty food. He coughed gently, lying one hand on his mouth, as he lowered his two hands to the borders of the stone sink, breathing calmly.

Archangel had glared at Vladimir for his quip about coughing. She wondered if he knew just how much being in this church hurt them. The twins watched as he drank the water, trying hard to fight the urge to either run forwards and stop him or to retch, imagining what it would to to them.

Vladimir stood up straight, breathing a few more times slowly, before turning to the two demonettes. He glanced hesitantly at the ground, before scratching the back of his head with his gloved hand, not really understanding. A small wave of deception crossed his face.
"That's weird..." Vladimir whispered, "I can't feel anything."
He sighed, and leaned his head backwards. "Unless there's nothing holy with me. That must be it. I was wrong all along. C'mon, let's go, Onyx, Archangel and Neku. I don't want to stay in here any longer." He quickly turned to the entrance, making his purple cloak wave behind him. He took one step forwards, and stood straight for a moment.
He coughed, and fell down forwards heavily, resonating in the whole church. His purple cloak slowly fell onto his body, as he breathed by small gasps, his ocean blue eyes wide, staring at nothingness.

Archangel ran towards Vladimir, ignoring the fact that she was in a church and he had touched the holy water. She tried to touch him, but her hand was burned on contact with his skin. Onyx arrived at his side shortly afterwards, biting her lip, not knowing what to do if they couldn't touch him.

--Isn't there Neku in there?--

Vladimir's face stayed the same, if not the whites of his eyes darkening by the second. His breath was still quick and by short gasps. His gloved arm twitched, moving outwards, perpendicular to his body, scratching against the stone floor of the church.

The same woman pastor, having heard the noise, appeared from behind a wall, her eyes widening at the sight of what she thought being two girls crouching over their uncle. She lifted her skirt slightly, to come walking quickly over to the man, looking down at him.
"What happened?" she asked.

- Not that I remember -

Archangel and Onyx stood back as the pastor arrived, Archangel holding her burnt hand carefully close to her.
"We don't know," They murmured quietly in unison.

The pastor crouched near the man, lying one hand on the back of the chest, right where the heart was. A wave a worry slid onto her face, and she turned her head to the two girls.
"Has he ever had any heart problems before?" she asked quickly.

"We don't know," The twins said in unison again. Onyx was feverishly trying to think of a reason as to why they were with Vladimir in the first place, but none were coming to mind. She knew that if the pastor found out that she had two part demons standing in her church, both demonesses would be in big trouble.

"He needs to be sent to the hospital," the woman remarked, standing up, lifting her hand from the shaking Vladimir's chest. She lifted her skirts slightly to start to run away, dashing past the wooden benched, her footsteps echoing greatly in the large room.
"There will be no need for that," a voice called from behind. The pastor turned around, her eyes widening at the sight of a white being in the church. The white entity had a bluish aura emanating from it. It was the man. It was Vladimir. Well, partly.
Vladimir's eyes had gone totally black, only the blue irises having stayed in their orbits. His hair had gone to a flashing silver, still standing up in the air. But his skin was tainted with a very pale blue tone, like if put on vampire skin. The two purple straps tightening Vladimir's purple cloak had been pulled away, letting the cloak float in a magical way, just over the ground. What was the most surprising is that the glove was white. Completely white. And the small silver metal pieces that were stuck on the glove shone to gold.
Under the cloak was Vladimir's black shirt and tight black trousers, along with his black leather boots. The metal was hovering slightly, like if unaffected by gravity. The pastor's eyes widened at the sight of the creature, which slowly advanced to her.
The next instant, the angel was right next to her, one hand gently posed on her cheek. The pastor gasped quickly at the feeling of the cold touch. Vladimir smiled slightly. "And you will not remember anything of this, all right?" he added. Just after, the woman fell on the ground, back first; Vladimir took his hand back from its previous position.

Archangel and Onyx just stared at Vladimir, although Onyx quickly grabbed Archangel, pulling her away and running out of the door of the church. She knew that there was something about Vladimir now that had been very slightly present before, but now it was overwhelming.
