'This is not a Good thing' (Holly and Shadow...only...)

Holly pushed all her weight against the large block of ice that was lying on top of her.
"This is not a good thing," she muttered, and eventually stopped trying to move it. She craned her neck to look behind her and reched her hand out as far as it would go, fingers stretching, and yet not even fumbling with her discarded wand.
"Oh no Holly, you wont need your wand, just drop it on the floor why dont you?" she muttered to herself and let her head fall back onto the snow.
"Well someone has to come past..."
Ten minutes passed.
"Still a chance..."
Half an hour.
"Goddammit."

A large black wolf bounded past, dragging a sled through the snow. Raven was on the sled. Shadow spotted something unwhite moving in the snow and slammed on the brakes, the sled crashing into her. After Raven unharnessed her, Shadow bounded over to where she had seen the figure. She morphed back into her usual self, shaking her head at Holly.
"Seriously, what you doing all the way out here?"

"I thought the view might be nice," Holly said seriously looking up at the black sky, "And I cant really see who you are, but if you are the girl who gave me directions a mile back and said, "Be careful in the snow", I really dont want your help right now..."
Holly craned her neck around to see who it was who was speaking to her.

"Let me give you a hand. I'm tall, violet haired and only half human." Shadow said with a smile.

Holly froze (!).
"Roth...?" she asked, still quite unsure. But then she didnt know any other half human violet haired tall people who would want to give her a hand.

"Yes, Shadow Roth." Shadow said before she backed away and used her magic to remove the ice holding Holly down.

Holly slid herself out and stood up, shivering.
"Well thanks," was the only thing she could think of saying.

Shadow smiled at her friend, allowing the ice to fall again before she turned to Holly.
"So, why you out here?"

Holly grinned at her and thought of the most suitable answer.
"Well I ... I dont really know," she mumbled awkwardly, "Kinda...looking for something..."

" 'Something'?" Shadow enquired.

"I....something I think was somewhere around here....once...."
Holly trailed off to look into the distance.
"My old house," she said, "I have to go clear it....cause I came of age yesterday ... everything there is mine."

"And you're here, why? Your home is in Ireland!" Shadow said.

"You would think..." Holly muttered, "But they moved it all into the magical world after it was mostly destroyed.... this is the exact same as I remember, but in an alternate world. The giant rabbit hole should be about ... here...."
She stepped forward, and instantly seemed to dissolve into the darkness. She had in fact, fallen into a giant rabbit hole.
"Found it..." she called with weak bravado.

Shadow sighed at her firned, shaking her head.

Holly grinned weakly, and climbed out.
"That means the house is about .... ooh, here!"
She pointed to a willow tree about half a mile away, behind which a small, four up, two down could be seen.
"You're coming I expect?"

"If you allow me." Shadow said.

"Dont I always?" Holly called over her shoulder, as she strutted through the snow, grinning.

Shadow nodded and morphed into a wolf, bounding through the snowdrifts.

"I came out of my racoon ways y'know..." Holly murmured, but changed into her racoon form instantly to run, a little slowly, beside the wolf.

Shadow shrugged as a wolf, the snow only half sticking to her thick black fur.

They came to the house eventually, where the racoon shivered and morphed into Holly.
"This is it I think....." she said looking up. "Aye, number 11....thats it."
She hesitated and glanced at the wolf.
"Lets not dwaddle..." she muttered, and pushed the door open.

Shadow morphed back and brushed a little snow off her cloak before walking inside after her friend.
"Sorry, I find it easier to travel through snow as a wolf."

"Wolves are hardcore, so thats ok," Holly muttered blinking in the dim light.

Shadow smiled and looked around.

"This is it," Holly said surprised, "This is actually it... huh..."
She looked around the burnt half of the kitchen, and then the living room, lifting any valuables from the house.
"It.um....happened there..." she said softly, and pointed to a bit on the kitchen floor, marked with an X.
