A hooded figures were wandering the forest. He was visisbly a 21 year old man. He wore an attire that might be considered strange in the big cities. The older and taller of the two, wore a red, sleeveless shirt, with black stripes forming crosses, and black Combats. His normal black duster, had been replaced with a white hooded long coat with a red trim. He stopped walking, muttering something to himself as he sat down on the floor. He closed his eyes and started to sniff the air, before he opened his eyes again. He looked somewhere to the right, and spoke in a soothing voice.
"It is alright Human, i will not harm you..." The figure's stare was emotionless, as he stared into the mass vegetation that populated the rural areas of the forest.

Ilena had been following the strange figure since she noticed him in the city. There wandered a lot of bizarre people around, yet he seemed to stand out this day. And Ilena, being insanely bored and wanting to get out of her smelly excuse for a house, was curious to see what exactly he was planning to do. So she hid behind some bushes. Ilena held in a small growl; stupid thorns kept tangling themselves in her jeans. Now she had a more or less clear view on the being. She advanced closer, her gut telling her something was off. Sniffing noises sounded and Ilena's eyes widened in realisation that he too, was certainly not the common human. Then the sniffing man called out to her. Knowing she couldn't just run off Ilena made her way through. The positive thing was that she now had the opportunity to observe him without that darn vegetation. But who the hell would wear a white coat? Not that she was one to talk about proper cloth... "Who are you?" she arrogantly asked, obviously not impressed by his appearance.

The man looked at Ilena, and smiled. "I am Gabriel Bloodrayne. I am the divine instrument of the Lord, sent to this world to rid it of the impure souls of the living dead. Mainly, Vampires." Gabriel announced, He rose to his feet, still looking at Ilena. He shook his head before he spoke again, the words sounded angelic, un-naturally pleasing. "I can sense your discomfort, please, Sit..." Gabriel asked Ilena, as he looked towards a patch of grass that was coated in a small pile of leaves, almost cushion like.

Ilena didn't trust him. Who in his right mind would sit with a stranger that sounded like a freaking exorcist priest for God's sake! She eyed him suspiciously. Her feeling was right, he certainly wasn't an ordinary person. "Vampires", she simply repeated while lowering down to the grass, "and you expect me to just believe that?" The sarcasm easily detected in her voice. Then again, she pondered further, it wasn't as if she hadn't met unusual creatures before. Like that girl with her horse. Ilena frowned. "What are you if I may know?" she muttered more to herself than to Gabriel. Weird name again. Was there anything about this guy that didn't appear to be completely weird?

"I am an immortal, a Nosferatu...but not like others, i am...Unique..." Gabriel answered, he still kept that soothing smile on his face. "I am 112 years old if you must know, i have seen a great deal of horrific things in my life, and i have also prevented many deaths..." Gabriel said, he was still smiling. He could sense that Ilena was not at ease. He was not trusted, but what could he expect? He was a monster, who hunted and killed other monsters because he was one of gods faithful, it didn't sound too believable.

Ilena struggled to keep her snicker in. It wasn't that she was bad willed or something, certainly not. Only, what he said sounded so.. Priest and crazy-ish. Who wouldn't laugh? "So.. You are unique.. In what way exactly?" she managed to add without bursting out laughing insanely. But 112 years.. That was pretty old she guessed. She was only what? About 17 years old.. She didn't even know herself when she was born. Blame her parents. She absently twirled some hair around her finger. Still, why was he talking to her. "So.. What are you here for? I can imagine that having to do.. God's work is a lot. You obviously didn't make a citytrip." She arched a brow. How he kept smiling all the time.. Really unnerving.

Gabriel stopped smiling, and adopted a more serious look. "Unique in this way..." Gabriel then revealed the holy silver cross around his neck. He also showed his fangs to Ilena. Gabriel's eyes flickered to the right, and he spoke in answer to her latter question. "And this is why i am here!" Gabriel announced as he leapt back. A vampire lunged onto his previous location, letting out a roar of determination as it continued in the pursuit. Gabriel raised his hand as it leapt for him again, but it just went through him (Immaterial for the win!) Gabriel then turned to it, so that Ilena could not see his face, and he grasped the other vampire, digging his Superior Vampiric claws into it. It screamed in agony, as Gabriels fangs pierced its throat, and ripped its head off, in a very messy fashion. The corpse fell to the ground, as Gabriel started to laugh. He turned around to face Ilena, both his eyes were now glowing a blood red, he leapt through the air, brushing past her shoulder as he collided with another vampire, he tore through its chest with his claws, throwing whole chunks of flesh into the air as he ripped the vampire apart.

That Ilena was shocked at the view of the sudden revelations was an understatement. But when the first vampire jumped into the small clearing her mind simply didn't believe it to be true. She rose up and turned to Gabriel, halfway saying a sentence when her eyes widened in horror. That smiling 'lunatic' from 5 minutes ago was simply slashing heads off with his teeth. Blood splattered around, Ilena's clothes got partially covered in the red substance. She didn't know whether to feel sick or frightened. Completely frozen, she just stood there.. Trying to process what was happening.

Gabriel turned to look at Ilena, the eerie glow still in his eyes. He closed them, and brushed off his clothes, before opening them again, they were back to their normal, Heterochormiatic colours, Black and Red.
"I do apologize if that frightened you..." Gabriel said, he seemed rather casual again now, he was smiling again, despite the two unholy corpses on the floor. The first victims head was permanently frozen in the look of pain and horror it bore when the vile beast died.

There was the smile again. Ilena honestly didn't know what to feel. She should be frightened to death, right? Yet she wasn't.. She looked up angrily at Gabriel. "Could you at least warn me next time?" she bit at him. "So I don't get sprayed by pieces vampire and such." Utterly disgusted, she tried to wipe the blood off her cloths, only to result in spreading it even more. "Great", she muttered to herself, "simply wonderful." With an angry gesture Ilena went to sit back in the grass, one of the few un-bloody parts.

Gabriel stopped smiling, but didn't look serious, his face was like a mask, devoid of all emotion and feeling, he sat down a good distance away from Ilena.
"Sorry, but the vampire didn't exactly make himself known until he thought it would be funny to leap, so...it could not be helped." Gabriel said, he sat there silently for a moment, a smile slowly appearing on his face. He looked at Ilena hopefully.
"Ilena, how would you like to see some truly amazing things?" Gabriel asked. His nose twitching as the breeze crossed his nose. His ears twitched in unison with his nose, as vibrations passed into them.

She grinned a bit. He had a point though.. Yet, vampire innards weren't that funny to be covered with. Ilena was a bit.. Unnerved again at his blank face. She refused to admit that the Gabsmile was a tad more comforting even though it made him -in her opinion- seem like a with blood covered laughing psychopath. Ah but there she saw it appear again.. A blink of long sharp teeth flashed her way. She snapped out of her pondering at his question. This was what she had been waiting for so long. Finally, a chance at adventure.. "I'd love to." she silently said, showing her first smile in ages.

Gabriel smiled at her, hiding his fangs. "Right then. There are two vampires, one is closing in on us from the east, the other is unaware of our present, and is to the south. We wait for East, and hunt down south." Gabriel said, as he got a silver necklace with a cross hung to it out of his pocket, he handed it to Ilena, whispering in her ear.
"Put it on, and it will protect you...for a while. I will forge you a silver weapon when i have the chance." Gabriel then smiled again. Closing his eyes. When they re-opened, they had that same glow that they had when he had horribly mutilated the other 2 vampires.

Ilena nodded seriously at this information, weighing the necklace in her hand before putting it on. She curiously watched it reflecting the sunlight. "Thanks", she murmured quietly, while looking up at his face. Then, when she saw his eyes had changed colours, one little fact struck her like Gabriel slashing at the unfortunate vampires. "You do realize that I absolutely can't fight?" she stated frowningly, worried about hunting down the other vampire. Her attention was being pulled to the silver charm. The necklace felt strange on her skin. Different from any jewel -not that she owned a lot of those in the first place- she had ever worn. Pulling her shirt tidy, she stood ready to face adventure. A slight smile appeared across her face again. Ilena couldn't wait to feel alive.

"I will teach you..." Gabriel replied as he whipped to the left and slashed at the air with his claw. A splash of blood sprayed through the air as a vampire slumped to the grounds, the blood gushing from its throat. Gabriel spat on it as it writhed in pain, still not dead. He spoke aggressively.
"Pathetic!" Before he kicked it in the face so hard that its head rolled off. He started to laugh as he spoke again, to Ilena this time. "Right...to the other one..."

Ilena didn't know how, but somewhere in her surprise she had managed to dodge the spraying flight of vampireblood. Her frame tensed, she had no idea what to do and his violent moves startled her. Gabriel's ability to switch this quickly between being friendly and slaying vampires without a question slightly bothered her. Yet she wasn't frightened. Not at all.

The gurgling sounds of the dieing beast weren't exactly the most pleasant, nor clean view to witness. Blood splattered really everywhere. Then her eyes widened amazed at his brutal display of power. She suspected he enjoyed tearing of limbs, with the decapitation of enemies proudly on top of the list. A mental chuckle followed after these thoughts. "Lead the way", she answered eagerly, very curious to see that other vampire.

Gabriel smiled again, his eyes were still glowing. He started to walk through the tree's, silently, like a large cat stalking its prey. He was sniffing the air, keeping track of the vampire, his eyes were also twitching, to detect any disturbances. He felt a bond with this human girl, Ilena, and he wasn't about to let her be some vile beasts dinner. After about 5 minutes he stopped suddenly, he whispered, almost too quiet to hear.
"Its close..."

Subconsciously Ilena walked closer to Gabriel. Adrenaline rushed wildly through her veins in anticipation of meeting the other vampire. She nervously observed the environment. Never before had she set a foot in these parts of the forest. That little fact made her edgy; Ilena preferred to know exactly where she was. It made her feel weak.. And although she realized that she actually was, she absolutely hated to admit it. The woods were very confusing to her, little noises sounded everywhere around them. How could she possibly know where that vampire was? She silently took her small dagger out of her worn boot. The little piece of metal had proven to be quite handy at times. Ilena hoped she wouldn't have to use it against the vampire, she doubted it would cause any damage at all..

Gabriel stopped walking, lowering into a crouch. He whispered, almost silently, telling Ilena to get down. He cursed under his breath, as the realization hit that it was not one, but 4 vampires. If they went for Ilena it could be problematic. He let out a small warning, before the vampires emerged. All 4 of them, Gabriel and Ilena were surrounded, but the Vampires weren't attacking.
"Greetings, fellow vampire. Come for the feast?" The lead one asked. Gabriel thought for a second before rising to his feet and answering. "Umm...yes, and this is my underling, she will be turned tonight..." Gabriel whispered into Ilena's ear, too quiet for the other vampires, "Play Along"

Her eyes darkened with mischief at his words.. But still Ilena was trying to control her fear as the four vampires advanced threatingly towards them. Only one vampire south, eh.. Quickly casting an angry glare at Gabriel, she smiled evilly at the vampires. "Nice to meet you, gentlemen", she amiably exclaimed, no single trace of fear in her seemingly warm voice "what brings you here in these lone woods?"

The lead vampire looked dissapointed when he replied. "Oh...we thought you were contributing to the feast by bringing a meal, but...thats fine aswell..." Gabriel moved infront of Ilena defensively. "Don't even think about it, you'll all drop before you make it..." Gabriel exclaimed as he read their body language. They looked surprise and smirked. "How do we know that your not bluffing?" they asked. Gabriel smiled maliciously as he licked his canines. "Try me..." Gabriel taunted. The vampire behind them lurched forward in an attempt to get Ilena. Gabriel spun round Ilena and lunged towards the vampire, impaling it with his hand. "I warned you..." Gabriel said. His eyes were glowing a blood red, as he licked the blood from the vampire chest. The vampire hissed in disgust, before the fangs tore through his throat. Gabriel started to laugh, as he held his victims voice box in his teeth. "Anybody else want to try me?"

A short intake of breath showed her panic. Ilena seriously feared for the first time in her young existence for her life. A little frightened scream escaped her throat at the leader's lunge. These vampires.. She was more than glad Gabriel defended her like that, she doubted she would have lasted a minute against the bloodthirsty beast. It was still a bit unsettling to see him change like this.. "Gabriel..", she softly tried to ease him. She might not know him for a long time, yet, she didn't like to see him this.. Bloodthirsty. Although the laughing gave kind of a funny, in a macabre way, twist.

The vampires backed away from the obviously dangerous Gabriel. He had killed their comrade in a matter of seconds, a feat not easill achieveable when handling vampires. The one behind Gabriel, pulled out a pistol and fired a silver bullet at him. Gabriel slumped to the ground, and screeched, supposedly in pain. The vampires smirked, and started to walk towards Ilena.
"Silver kills vampires, love. Now we're going to violate you, and then kill you!" The lead vampire stepped in Gabriels pool of blood, and stopped suddenly. Something had gripped his foot. The vampire was slung through the air into a tree, as Gabriel rose from the ground slowly.
"Our mission is t' punish any heretic who would deny the word of God! We will crush yer unholy body and salt th' earth w' yer dust! Amen!" Gabriel recited, with plenty of volume in his voice. He looked at the other two vampires, as their leader got back up. "Rush him, he can't take all 3 of us!" He ordered. They all leapt for Gabriel. He jumped and intercepted the Leader, ripping into the vampires throat with his teeth. Gabriel clawed open the vampires skull, as the other grabbed his back and threw him off. Gabriel roared with a twisted, maniacal joy, and as they lunged for him, he swung both his arms in unison. His claws met with their necks, causing their blood to spray everywhere as they collapsed to the ground and, rather loudly, died.
"I'm gonna need t' change..." Gabriel joked, his white long coat was now more of a dark red colour.

"Hn", she replied mordantly, eying his now crimson soaked piece of garment and letting a small smile grace her features, "you do kinda look cool this way y'know. Completely covered in yummy vampblood and such." She felt stupid with her pathetic excuse for a dagger right now, Gabriel hadn't left her enough time to even think about using it. Her slender pale hands achingly clenched around the chilly metal that, even though it felt very cold, seemed to scorchingly sting her skin. Not that she complained, Ilena was more than simply glad for the protection she got, but, the girl wasn't exactly the sort of person who would only watch and let others do everything. Absolutely not. Her free spirit yearned for action and adventure.

A sudden rustling noise and muffled, inhuman sounding screech made her jump up in surprise. "What's that?" she hissed startled to Gabriel.

Gabriel launched himself over Ilena and grabbed a grabbed what he thought was a vampire but was surpirsed when it was too furry to be a vampire. He looked at the beast and let out a shreek as it slashed open his chest. He fell to the ground as the man wolf moved from him and started towards Ilena. As it began to leap Gabriel grabbed its leg and pulled it down to the ground, in response it started to slash at him with its Claws.
"Use your knife!" Gabriel yelled as he faught off its claws.
