Deep in the Forest

Raven wished for the ignorance of Shadow's shouts that the others had. She knew Demonic, and the shouts tortured her mind as she tried to put on a brave face and stride on. Vrael put his arm around Alba's shoulder, equally affected by the shouting.

Holly glanced around at the group before falling into step with Raven.

Alba rested her head on Vrael's shoulder. She had never been so in love with anyone in her whole life. In french it would have been described as "un coup de foudre". But in english, youd just have said it was love at first sight. So she wrapped her arm round Vrael's waist and followed his sister.

Vrael absentmindely played with the tips of Alba's hair, trying to block out the shouting.

Natalie walked faster until she was walking with Holly and Raven.

Holly resisted the urge to vomit, and blocked out everything.
"Reckon it will be safe...?" she asked Raven, trying to sound casual, "Seeing her I mean...?"

"Yes..." Natalie answered the question.

Raven stopped just before a corner in the tunnel, which had been going downhill gradually.

Holly stopped herself just before she walked into Raven.

Alba pushed away from Vrael, realising this was not the moment. She stepped up behind Raven and followed her into the room. The sight she say made her stomac lurch. She quikly looked away.

Holly looked around the door too.

Natalie stopped too.

Raven carefully looked round the corner. Here, Shadow's screams and shouts were too loud to block out, and the demonic people all had pained expressions. Seeing no one, Raven walked round the corner and looked in a small window in a door to a prison cell.

Holly glanced at Natalie before following Raven, a little uneasily.
"Where is she...?" she whispered to no one in particular.

Alba didn't know what to do, waiting for Raven to tell them what she was seeing.

Raven backed away disgusted from the scene she saw.

What is it, thought Alba, what has she seen

"What?" Holly asked, her panic ringing in the echo.

"She's in there..." Raven said. "They're not torturing her the normal way. They're attacking her mind..."

Natalie walked in...and was disgusted also.

"Oh Holy Lord!" She yelled.

"Well do something!" Holly said exasperatedly, "Or tell one me how and I will!"

"And me!" Natalie screamed.

Alba felt like being sick. Attacking her mind? The only safe place in a living creature. It's mind is the only place it can be safe from the world outside and they were attacking hers! Oh My God

Raven had a look of complete disgust on her face.

Holly waved a hand in Raven's face.
"OI! ROTH!" she said, annoyed, "Tell'us how to help her!"
