Deep in the Forest

"Not nessecarily." Raven said through the mind connection. "It could look like Shadow with red eyes."

"Mmm..." sighed Natalie slightly.

"True," Holly said, "So just look for anything!"

Alba ran out the room and down the corridor away from the wizards pursuing her. She turned a corner and was thrown backwards. She got to her feet in a hurry and tryed to run again but was met by a hard and invisible wall infront of her. She spun round. Too late. They were on her! She roared in rage at being trapped. Then out of the blue, she felt a terrible feeling of pressure inside her head. It made her concentration flicker and she changed back to human form, sinking to her knees on the cold marble floor.
Just before her sight failed and she fell unconcious, she sent a signal out to Raven.
"Help!"

"Is everyone okay?" Holly asked Raven via telepathy. Felt good to be able to use THAT.

"Here, something's up," Hayley muttered, the hairs on the nack of her neck standing up.

The hairs on Holly's eyelids and upper lip stood up to join Hayley's.

Hayley was gobsmacked. How could someones eyelahses stand up?

Anyway.

She frowned, and clsed her eyes. "I think it's Alba," she said, sounding wiser than she actually was.

Raven and Vrael had sensed Alba's plea and teleported to her side. They stood in front of Alba, eyes narrowed.

Hayley looked at Holly, a questioning look on her face. "What do we do?" she asked, knowing that without Blueberry, she could not teleport. Blueberry was at the vets.

"WELL I DONT KNOW!" Holly said exasperatedly, "AM I A SCIENTIST? NO!"

Natalie frowned slightly...but was silent...

Hayley made a frustated sound, that sounded something like, "Kagh," and she bit her lip again.

Alba opened her eyes. Her head ached, but the pressure seemed to have stopped. She looked up to see Raven and Vrael. What happened she asked herself.

Vrael knelt beside Alba and helped her to her feet.

"Thankyou," she said, looking into his silver eyes. Then the turned to the gang of wizards infront of them. An anger sparked inside her. The ****ers! ( )

Vrael growled deep in his throat as he looked at them also.

Alba stepped forwards, discretely reaching out and taking Vrael's hand in hers. She glared at the now wary looking wizards and said:
"What did you ****ers do with Shadow's demon half?!"
One of the wizards swallowed and stepped forwards.
"I'm sorry, but I have to place you under arrest for trespassing and violence towards members of the Ministry of Magic."

Vrael's growl deepened.
"You harmed my sibling in a way no mortal should."

Holly sprinted down the corridor to meet the group.
"Hi, didya find 'er?"

Natalie sat down quietly.

"Is that a .... no?" Holly asked, sitting next to her.

Natalie looked up.

"No..." she sighed.

"But what if somethin' bad happens to her?" Holly asked, wondering why no one seemed fussed.

"I know..." said Natalie, who was upset beyond belief with numerous things at the moment...
