The Evil Topic In Which Anything Could Happen

Holly looked up at Hogwarts.
"It's pretty." she informed ... herself, "Oh look, a map!"

Natalie walked in.
"Are you gonna be acting like this all day?" Natalie asked, "you went here for seven years...you do not need a map."

"Not a map of HOGWARTS!" Holly said rolling her eyes, "A MAP TO A TREASURE!"

"Ok then..." said Natalie shrugging.

"Let's go!" Holly said excitedly, "It would be like we were seventeen again!"
They were seventeen and eighteen. But oh well.

Natalie laughed quietly.
"Ok then..." said Natalie, "is Shadow coming?"

"She's back at our flat, I left her there." Holly said smiling, "See, I CAN do things without her ... but I'll call her if you want."
She took a deep breath.
"ROTH!?"

"I didn't even know you lived together..." said Natalie, "ok then..."

"Yes you did." Holly said, "I told you. Yes, she's not listening, so let's go just us then! COME ON!"
She skipped off, dragging Natalie behind her.

She wears you out right?

A wolf cub and a dove followed along behind the pair.

Holly glanced behind, a little worried.
"I thought I heard paws," she informed Natalie, looking around.

The dove perched on Holly's shoulder and the wolf cub sat in front of her, looking at the witch rather pointedly.

"Hallo!" Holly said, realising who these creatures were, "How's it goin?"

The dove jumped off Holly's shoulder and the twins morphed back.
"Hello." They chorused.

Holly grinned down at them.
"What are you two doing? Bit late isn't it?"

Archangel and Onyx looked at each other before shrugging.

"Oh well, I can't leave you here on your own, you coming treasure hunting with Nat and me?" Holly asked conversationally.

The twins nodded again.

"Let's go then!" Holly said happily, "How's mum?"

"She's good." Archangel said, walking alongside Holly.

"That's good, I haven't seen her in .... gosh ... must be three days now. I'll have to call up..."
Muttering to herself, Holly led the way up the hill away from Hogwarts.

"She's been a bit busy." Archangel said.

"Doing what?" Holly asked interestedly, "Hold on, I haven't even been LOOKING at this map."
She looked down.
"It's written in some kind of .... strange language...." she breathed.
She was, of course, holding it upside down.

Onyx took the map, turned it the right way up and handed it back to Holly.
"She's been... I don't know..." Archangel said.

Holly "Aaah" 'ed in understanding and winked her thanks at Onyx.
"We go .... this WAY!" she said, not listening to anything else, and began skipping along a pathway, illuminated only by moonlight.
