Hogwarts: Next Generation

Tomorrow followed, nodding at several Gryffindor's she'd introduced herself to at the table the previous night.

Twilight sat down on her bed, looking at the floor.

Tomorrow looked at Twilight.
"Want a liquorish wand?" she asked absently.

"No thanks." Twilight said quietly.

Tomorrow shrugged.
She took out a book and began reading it.

Twilight sighed, lying back on her bed.

Tomorrow lay back, and began to read a chapter in her book about demons.
She read quickly, every now and then looking up, eyes wide, at Twilight.
Suddenly, she closed her book.
"You're...you're....I didn't know that...." Tomorrow stammered.

"Yes?" Twilight asked with a bored tone.

"I didn't know that either." Ash commented from behind Natalie.

"A demon," whispered TOMORROW.
She looked at Ashton.
"You didn't?" she asked.

"No duh Sherlock." Twilight said. "Raven is my mother."

"No...but...I didn't even know she was one..." said Tomorrow, "and I think mummy already knows...I sure of it."

Tomorrow took some paper out and wrote a letter to her mother, asking her why she hadn't told her about this amoung other things.

"And you didn't know Raven was Shadow's twin and that Shadow is a demon?" Twilight said.

"No..." Tomorrow said.
Suddenly, an owl flew through the open window.
In dropped a letter on the bed.
The letter sprung to life.
"Tomorrow darling...I had a vision...I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the Roths honey..."
Tomorrow gasped.
"Why didn't you?" she asked her mother's letter.
"To protect the Roths honey..." said the letter, "to protect them from the ministry...and from people who would try and harm them."
"I see..." said Tomorrow.

"TELL MY MUM I MISS HER!" Ash yelled, just for good luck.

The letter sighed.
"Yes Ashton darling...I will," it said, before ripping itself up.

"Thanks..." Ashton said quietly, hoping no one else had heard.

Twilight was haning upside down off her bed, and had scowled darkly at the mention of the ministry.

Ash cocked his head to the side.
"Doesn't that make all the blood rush to your head?" he asked conversatinally.

"It used to. Doesn't anymore." Twilight said.

"Huh ...." Ash commented, but he did not question further, "So your mum's a demon ... Mum's best friend is a demon ... ironic isnt it?"

"No, we're just all from the same family." Twilight said.

"Oh yeah." Ash said, "That'd explain the same last name thing wouldn't it .... So what subjects you good at? I can do flying, mum says I was born a flyer, but other than that I can't do anything, can you fly? Do you have a broom? Can demons fly normally?"

"We can fly, it's just rather tiring." Twilight said. "I'm good at wandless magic."

"Magic without WANDS?"
Ash was stunned.
"I didn't know that existed, so you can do magic like right now even though you don't have a wand? Can your sister do that? Can all demons do that? Are there more of you?"
