The Second Battle Of The Grounds

Holly bit her lip to stop herself laughing at the pair.
"Come on girls, let's not fight." she said bracingly.

Raven scowled again and tried to get Merlas to fly in the opposite direction. She ended up in a bush.

Holly snorted.
"Alright Rae?" she called.

There was no answer as the disgruntled demoness picked herself up and swept away.

"I miss Shad." Holly commented, sighing deeply.

Merlas snorted on Holly and sighed.

"Y'miss her too?" Holly observed, "Considering you CLAIM to know her better."

"Yes." Merlas said simply.

"Well when we find her we will ASK her who she LIKES more ... and you will be .... y'know ... proved either wrong or ... more likely right."
Holly shrugged.

Merlas dipped her head in agreement before sniffing the air and moving off in one direction.

Holly hurried after her, not wanting to be left on her own.
"Don't leave me! ... Again!"

"I'm here," said Natalie softly.

"Bless." Holly commented, patting Natalie on the back.

Natalie mistook this as an act of aggression, and hit Holly hard on the shoulder.

Holly fell down down down oh dont you let your demons pull you down, cause you could have it all, you could have it all ... so come on, see the light on your face...

Natalie sighed, and picked Holly up.

Merlas watched them with a bored expression.

Natalie looked at Merlas.
"So...what do we do now?" she asked.

"We search." Merlas said.

On hearing no answer, Holly added.
"How about now?"

Merlas pinned her ears back, glaring at Holly before taking flight in a rush of feathers.

Holly looked after her, half interestedly
"Se hates me." she laughed.

Merlas flew back, grabbed Natalie and Holly, and flew off again.

Natalie was happy once again...well...happier than she had been in a while.

A few minutes later, Merlas touched down again, outside a rather large rabbit hole.
