The Secret

Natalie pointed her wand at Shadow...then, reasiling something, she pointed it at Holly.

"Put. That. Down." Holly said, irritated. She raised her wand.

Shadow put her finger on the trigger.
"Don't make me shoot you." She growled at Natalie. "Leave Holly alone, and go."

Incredibly confused, Holly held her hands up.
"Shaaad... she's gone all weird on me."

"I don't know why you're asking me to help Bristol. I'm the killer, remember?" Shadow snapped, her eyes on the gun, aiming for Natalie.

Natalie walked closer to Holly, and put the wand right to Holly's head.
"Drop the gun, or I will Confund her into taking it off you by force," said Natalie, "or...if worst comes to worst...I can do worse to myself."

"NAT!" Holly said, outraged, "I DONT WANT A PART OF THIS! SHAD LOOK WHAT SHES DOING TO ME!"

Shadow narrowed her eyes, but raised the gun, and fired a shot at the ceiling.
"Want to find out how many bullets it takes to kill a vampire?" She snarled, aiming the gun at Natalie's head again.

"You'll find I haven't done anything yet Holly," said Natalie calmly.
Natalie put her wand to her own head.
"I don't know...but it takes a couple of seconds with a wand," said Natalie, firmly.

Shadow narrowed her eyes, and fired.

"They cant die though." Holly laughed, "Christ, sometimes I think Im the smart one."

The bullet did not hurt Natalie in the slightest, but instead bounch off her as though there was a magical boundary.
"Nice shot...my tunr," said Natalie, "Lacarnum inflamaray," she said clearly, and a strand of her hair went on fire.

"Nice one." Holly commented to Shadow.

Shadow cocked the gun again, and pointed it at Holly.
"Humans die though. Want to put that to the test?"

"Not really." Holly said, "What would make you do it now when you didnt do it back when you were MEANT to?"

"Because now I feel no friendship for you." Shadow spat, steadying the pistol with her pther arm.

"You wouldn't," said Natalie, putting a silent protection charm on Holly all the same.

"She would." Holly said, taking the charm off, "I just wann see it ... "

Shadow narrowed her eyes, taking careful aim, and shot Holly in the shoulder. It wasn't mortal, but it would hurt like hell.

Natalie looked at Shadow, hair still blazing.
"After this crap is over, I think I need to go to the hairdressers again," she said quietly.
Natalie pointed her wand at Holly's shoulder.
"Reverso," she said, and the bullet shot at Shadow.

It did indeed hurt like hell.
"Maybe we should get outta here." Holly said to Nat, clutching her shoulder and attempting to show no pain, "Like now .. its a bit sore."

Shadow raised one forearm, the bullet glancing off the metal, leaving only a very slight dent.

"In a minute..." said Natalie quietly.
She looked at Shadow.
"Find...you leave me no option," she said, and she touched the metal bars of the cell, and they melted away like butter.

Shadow lowered her gun, but didn't let go of it.

"Now...you come quietly...or you come by force...it's your choice really," said Natalie quietly.
