The Secret

"I'm not coming." Shadow said in a final tone of voice.

"Fine...force it is," said Natalie calmly.

"Sounds good to me." Holly said, still clutching her shoulder.

Shadow scowled, and put her finger back on the trigger.
"Let's see you try." She challenged.

Natalie pointed her wand at the gun.
"Disarmamentosa!" she yelled.

Shadow hung on grimly to the gun, and was thrown back into a wall. The gun skidded across the floor, but Shadow scrambled to get it.

Natalie stepped hard enough on Shadow's hand to stop her, but soft enough that it would not hurt too much.

Shadow's face creased up in a sarl as Nat stepped on her hand, and yanked it out from uder he foot.

Natalie dove on top of Shadow, attempting to pin her to the floor.

Shadow rolled out of the way, and sprang to her feet, her bruised hand held carefully close to her.

Natalie gasped as she stood up, clutching her ribs.
"I'm ok..." she gasped, pointing her wand at Shadow.

"Well this is odd." Holly remarked, and pointed her wand at Shadow, for effect.

Shadow narrowed her eyes, her mind calculating how to get to her gun.

Holly gave Shadow a look, expecting her to speak first.

Shadow sprang towards the gun, one hand outstretched to grab it.

Natalie stepped on Shadow's hand...again...

Shadow hissed again, and scrambled away, getting to her feet and backing into a corner.

"You'd think she would have learned by now." Holly commented, taking the gun and dissolving it with her wand.

"Yes...you'd think she would have," said Natalie absently, looking at Shadow with a guilty expression.

Shadow remained in the corner, calculating her next move.

Natalie watched Shadow carefully.

Shadow adopted a fight stance, ignoring the pain in her hands.
"Go, now." She snarled.

Natalie ignored the sneer.

Shadow launched a flying kick at Natalie, attemping to drive her out.

"Oi!" Holly yelled, shoving Shadow very un-Witch-fashion, "What are you eight?"
