The Secret

"Worth a try." Holly muttered, spitting on the assassin as they closed the door, "Are they gonna wait till I starve?"

"Just shut up Bristol." Shadow said tiredly, having sat down with her back against a wall.

Holly shut up, and sat opposite Shadow, silently.

Shadow had her eyes closed, and seemed to be almost asleep.

The silence was killing Holly, so she put Teenage Dirtbag on her ipod.
Appropriate.

Shadow opened her eyes again as an assassin entered the cell. He handed her a small package, and left.

"Whazzat?" Holly asked tiredly, "Hopefully a gun."

Shadow opened the ackage to shot a gun, a photo, and a piece of paper. Another assassination.

Natalie, who had been knocked out by the kick that happened four pages ago, woke up, and stood up.
"What has been happening here?" she hissed.

((Ok people, fill me in.))

"Basically, you're stuck here because you were too stupid not to listen to me, I've lost all communicaion with the Assassin Lord, so I can't get you out." Shadow said in a bored tone of voice.

"Basically." Holly said nodding.

Natalie sighed slightly.
"I see..." she said slowly.

Shadow scowled.
"Now you know why I told you go get out." She hissed.

"Cause you do care about us." Holly said.

"No, because now my life here is in danger." Shadow snapped.

"Mmmm...I guess..." said Natalie quietly.

"Anyway." Shadow said, getting up, "I have a missions to fulfill."

She knocked on the door and said something before being let out.

Natali8e sighed in a depressed way.

"And because you care about us!" Holly called.

Natalie frowned slightly.

*two hours later*

Shadow returned, scowling as she was put in the same cell as Holly and Natalie again. Another assassin came in, and gestured to the two witches to follow him.

"Aye yer ma." Holly said raising her eyebrows, "Like we'd follow you."

"Come." The assassin said. "The Lord wished to speak with you."

Holly glanced at her friends, hesitated, and then followed the assassin.

The assassin lead Holly through a series of corridors before emerging into a circular room. There was an oldish man there, wearing black robes, consulting with a few assassins.
