"Yeah, she won't though." Archangel said.

"I know .. and I miss her." Holly said sadly.

"Do you know the story behind her being an assassin?" Archangel asked.

Natalie, who had appeared where Holly was, looked at Archangel.
"No...I don't..." she said.

"Do you want to hear it?" Archangel asked.

"I don't mind..." said Natalie absently.

Archangel nodded.
"When she first arrived here, Shadow got into a fight with someone she didn't know was an assassin, and killed him."

"I see..." said Natalie, "so she got herself into that one...really..."

"That's just the beginning." Archangel said. "She was hunted by the Guild for a few years, stalked and tracked util they realised what she was and what she was running from. They caught her, and they struck a deal."

"So this story has nothing to to with her getting wasted and signing a contract?" Holly asked, remembering her accidental marrige.

Archangel shook her head.
"No. In return for Shadow working for them, she's under the protection of the assassins."

"Ooooooh." Holly said, understanding.

"That's why she's there." Archangel concluded.

"I see," said Natalie, nodding.

Archangel shrugged.
"It's what she wrote in her diary anyway."

"Member the time you read MY diary?" Holly laughed, "WAIT! YOU READ HER DIARY!?"

"Yeah, I thought it'd be interesting..." Archangel said, looking guilty.

Natalie sighed.
"Holly...get real...she was probably worried about her mum," said Natalie.

"Impressive." Holly remarked.

"I won't read it again..." Archangel said.

"Well...I actually think it was sensible of you to do so...if you're worried..." said Natalie simply.

"I know, but there are part si wish i didn't know about her history..." Archangel said quietly.

"But...then again...maybe it's better you do..." said Natalie quietly.
