Two-moon tyrant.

A cataclysmic heat bestowed upon the clean desert, blank of all motion or life. Long trails of footsteps that traveled through sand and over dunes-
And, what's this?
A tall man, struggling to go further, seems to be treading this path. He takes a black cloth out of his pocket and wipes his forehead. He pulls out a one-meter tongue and pulls a three-meter face. He takes a bottle from under his purple cloak, opens it, and tips it in front of his mouth. A few drops of liquid fall into his mouth. One drop misses his mouth, and he catches it with the tip of his tongue.
'Last... Drops.' he mumbles, his eyes closed. Vladimir continues to traipse along the neverending desert. He catches a glimpse of green over a dune hill. He climbs it, and gets the wonderful sight of an oasis. Vladimir runs towards it, taking off his cloak and his shirt and throwing them into the air. He jumps and prepares for a dive.
Thud.
Vladimir is stuck in the sand, his feet locked in the same postion as his jump. He squirms and plucks his head out, shooting out grains of sand. Vladimir lays on his back, eyes closed. He sighs, then opens his eyes.
'Another mirage.'

Archangel and Onyx, Shadow's two daughters, appeared on a sand dune, not far from where Vladimir would have been.
"Arc... Where are we now?"
"You've got the map!"

Vladimir heard something from his side. He sighed, then closed his eyes again. 'Another mirage...'
Vladimir seemed very concentrated at those words. He opened his eyes, and then said, 'Hey, wait, mirages can't speak, can they?' and Vladimir turned his head to the direction of the sound. He saw two black specks along an enormous dune. He couldn't really recognize them, since the heat waves were making it all blurry. Who are they? he thought.

Archangel looked around her.
"There are tons of deserts on this map you dufus!" Archangel snapped
"Those are mountains..." Onyx pointed out.
"Let's ask that dude down there."

The twins headed down, Archangel's violet hair and Onyx's black lifting slightly in the megre breeze.

As the two people came near Vladimir, he sighed. He turned his head to the newcomers. he could only see blackness, because they were back to the sun. Vladimir squinted, then opened his mouth, and asked, 'Are you people mirages?'

"Do we look like mirages to you?" Archangel asked.
"Leave him alone Arc..." Onyx warned.

'Well,' Vladimir continued, closing his eyes, 'You people sure look like one, since I've only seen that since I came here.' Vladimir thought of something. He sat up, and put his hand on his chin. Wait, he thought, WHERE is here?
His blue eyes shone into the sun, and he closed them right away. He looked up at the two people. Still can't see who and what they are. Surely mirages.

"We're not mirages." Onyx said patiently. Archangel scoffed.
"We wouldn't be here if you hand't mucked up the teleportation..." Arcangel muttered
"You mucked it up."

Vladimir stood up, abruptly, and approached his head to the two others, and said, 'Says who?!' and Vladimir crossed his arms, a smirk on his face. They can't answer to that, he thought. I'm just toooo smart.

"Say the people you consider to be mirages but are actually not because we are in fact physical beings who are really sanding in front of you." Onyx countered.
"Smart *ss." Archangel muttered.

Vladimir stared blankly, and uncrossed his arms. He sighed, letting his brown hair fall down over his forehead. His leather gauntlet shone as the sun hit it directly.
'Fine,' Vladimir said, 'Do you have any water? I'm pretty thirsty here.'

Archangel wordlessly, for once, took a bottle of water from under her cloak and handed it over.

Vladimir snatched it away, took off the top, and poured it into his mouth. He drank the full of it, and handed it over to the one who gave it to him. He brushed his mouth with his right arm, then turned his head to the two. 'Thanks, that was really good of you,' he said, with an idiotic grin.

"Welcome." Archangel said, stowing the bottle back under her cloak.
"What are you doing out here?" Onyx asked.

'Well,' Vladimir began, putting one hand behind his head and scratching it, 'I WAS searching for a city, but... Looks like we tricked me, and that's how I ended up here.' He smiled, then frowned, 'I think.'

"Which city?" Onyx asked, trying to think of which city was next to a desert.

'A name along the sound of...' Vladimir began, closing his eyes, and putting his hand up to his head, 'Soohej? Zuhaj?'
Vladimir slapped his forehead, and sighed, 'Crud. Forgot.' He looked at the two others, feeling a bit embarassed.

Onyx sighed, mentally shaking her head. Archangel, however, smiled slightly, he was as lost as they were!

Vladimir looked at the two. They looked identical. Twin mirages, he thought, what'll we invent next?
Vladimir smiled, and put both of his hands behind his head. He noticed another person coming up from one of the dunes,. Vladimir squinted, but he was also against the sun, so Vladimir couldn't recognize him.

Archangel and Onyx started to talk among each other, trying to plan their next strategy. They were on a survival test, set by their mother, and needed to be able to survive in where ever they had landed.

Vladimir saw more people appear over the faraway dune. Sand lifted up as a breeze swiftly flowed through Vladimir's clothes. He smiled slightly, saying, 'Hey, there are more peoplr back there. I'll ask them to see if they have an idea where that city is.'
Vladimir started to depart, not noticing the jeep that just appeared over the dune.

Archangel and Onyx shrugged and followed Vladimir, morphing into a wolf and a dove to keep up easily/

Vladimir waved and yelled, trying to get the other people's attention. They seemed to have noticed him, because they were descending the dunes quickly and the jeep was driving towards them. 'Hey, you two,' Vladimir said, looking at the two newcomer's previous place, 'The people are-'
Vladimir noticed that the two people weren't there anymore, and all was left was a wolf and a dove. 'Eh?' Vladimir said, puzzled, one finger pointed out. 'Hey, where are you?' he yelled.
He looked at the creatures again, and saw that something was really weird.
Wolves don't live in deserts, do they?

The wolf seemed to roll its eyes, sitting down and morphing back into Onyx. The dove perched on her shoulder.
"You really are thick, aren't you?"

Vladimir stared blankly, mouth open, one eye twitching. 'Who ARE you people?!' He said, astonished by the transformation. 'I never saw people do that. What kind of magic trick is this?'
