Two-moon tyrant.

Vladimir bit his lips. This moment reminded him of the time when he screwed up in defending innocent people, and he shot criminals in vital points. He had to heal them, quickly. Vladimir insterted the bent device into Onyx's shoulder wound, and ripped out the bullet in one pull. He looked around the car, looking for a strip of cloth, or something. He found it, lying near the back of the car. He thightened Onyx's wound with it, hoping it was enough, even without disinfectant.

Onyx narrowed her eyes, but otherwise gave no sign that there had been any pain. She watched Vladimir tighten a bandage around the wound.
"Thank you," She said.

'No problem,' he answered, then looking at Archangel, 'Are you coming out fine with the jeep controls?' he asked. He looked at the back of the jeep, waiting for Archangel's answer. The angry mob was still after him. The man dressed in black was busy getting lifted by the previous conductor. We won't catch me.

"I'm fine!" Archangel said, "but where are we supposed to be going?" She had no clue of this, she just hit the accelerator and hoped she was going in the right direction.

'Eh,' Ahrach said, 'Pretty much anywhere! Just get us the heck out of here!' and Vladimir looked at the back. Had the angry mob stopped chasing them? Vladimir couldn't see anything behind the cloud of flying sand. Just to make sure, he didn't say anything, so that Archangel would continue.

Archangel nodded once, and pressed down harder on the accelerator, causing the jeep to shoot off even faster.
"Where did you learn to drive?" Onyx asked her sister warily.
"On that game Raven got for us."

Educational games, Vladimir thought, Eh, especially educational such as for driving a car. Christ, that's awesome.
Vladimir poked his head out of the window, if ever some people were still visible. A bullet shot past him, and he put his head back into the jeep.

Onyx jumped as she heard the gunshot, twisting round to look out of the back. Archangel floored the accelerator, trying to get away from the shots. Onyx had been thinking of the game Shadow had got after Raven's street racing one. A slightly evil smile spread across her face.

Vladimir looked at Onyx's evil smile. It made him slightly uncomfortable. Especially that he was around. What if they were just people who worked for the guys back there? Wait, that's impossible, Vladimir met them before the criminals.
Wait, don't we say that nothing's impossible?
Gah!

Onyx noticed something on the dashboard, and her face paled.
"Er, I hate to say it, but we're almost out of gas..."
Archangel swore.

Vladimir took the extra load of gas. He said, 'No worries, we still have this.'
Vladimir felt a drop on his forehead. He looked up, and saw a hole in the cargo. It was dripping. Vladimir tilted it, and gas came gushing onto him. He cursed, but it was muffled by the gas coming onto his face. He threw it out the window. A blank stare came onto his face.
'Well, no, we don't have it anymore. Bullet.'

Archangel started swearing in every language she knew (AKA, seven languages). Onyx looked up at the roof of the jeep, sighing.
"We're screwed." She said simply.

'You can say that again,' Vladimir replied, feeling that the jeep was slowing down by the second. A long beep was heard. No more gas. The cloud of sand dissipated, and Vladimir saw the angry mob at a far distance. The man dressed in black was waving his gun like mad.
Vladimir took Onyx and Archangel, and threw them out of the car. He twisted his belt back into place. He looked around, to see if there was anything important. nothing in the glove compartment. He noticed a swiss army knife, and took it. A S.A.K was always useful, he thought. Vladimir jumped out of the car, and started pushing it around itself, so that the engines ere facing the mob's opposite direction. Vladimir then took Onyx and Archangel, and put them behind a dune. He flicked off the security from his gun, and shot at the car engines, and ducked behind the same dune. The car exploded, leaving flaming pieces and bits of junk anywhere. A large mass of smoke emerged from the car. Vladimir then said, 'The wind's in our direction. If we hide behind the small amount of smoke, we may be able to escape without being seen. At least, for a short period of time...'

Archangel and Onyx, completely bewildered, nodded vigourously. They started to run, morphing in mid flight into their animals.

Vladimir began to run, and tripped a few times on the unstable sand. A few bullets were heard, and Vladimir dodged them all without looking at where it came from. He ran as fast as he could.

Archangel, who was flying through the desert air in her dove form, dove towards the sand, morphing to continue her run on two legs. The smoke in the air higher up was too much for her to cope with, so she ran alongside her wolf-sister.

Vladimir turned around, and closed one eye. He jumped slightly, shooting at the mob. Every one of his shots hit, either in the shoulder or in the leg of the attackers. Vladimir fell on the ground and he did a backwards somersault. His purple cape went in front of his face, and he swiftly turned around, putting new bullets into his gun, and ran.

Archangel and Onyx stopped, turning back to wait for Vladimir. They started to run alongside him, Onyx's black paws and Archangel's feet keeping pace with Vladimir.

Vladimir looked backwards, seeing that the rest of the mob was firing at them. His 'reflex' also had another great inconvinient: He could not take bullets that were meant to be for him, but he couldn't take bullets that weren't meant for him, either.

The twins, not wanting to be hit by the bullets, were zig-zagging across the sand in a random fashion so as to dodge any bullets that were aimed at them.
"Mother never said that part of the survival course was running away like this!" Archangel said, slightly out of breath.
Onyx groaned.

Survival course? They were sent here? Willingly or forced to?
Questions stacked up in Vladimir's head. Another pair of people he wouldn't get much about, but he guessed that it'll give him another reason to live longer. He began to sigh, but it was cut off by the sound of a bullet wizzing by his head.

"Will they ever give up?" Onyx muttered between clenched teeth.
Archangel, on the other hand, was grinning. She loved chases like these.

'Probably not,' Vladimir said, a bullet wizzing past his head, 'I'm searched all around the world. Prime hunters try to catch me. I got a sum of 50, 000, 000 dollars for my head. Dead or alive, doesn't matter, and I didn't even do all those crimes they talk about. I didn't do ANYTHING!'
Vladimir kept running, feeling a flurry of bullets just behind his feet. Sand popped up where the bullets had missed.

Archangel and Onyx stopped, turning round. The twins narrowed their eyes, summoning their magic into a dark green aura around them. Onyx had tired of the chase, and they had decided to do something about it.

'Mh?' Vladimir uttered. More magic? Eh. You learn something everyday...
Vladimir jumped behind the dark sphere. He clicked off the security from his gun. A faint 'click' was heard, as the security locked into position. Vladimir checked on how many bullets he had. He opened up the barrel.
12. Good enough.
Vladimir jumped out, and began shooting at the mob, aiming for precise places. Elbow, leg, arm. Five bullets hit, and two were lost. He needed to train more on precision. A bullet wizzed passed his ear, and he dodged it. Vladimir fell onto the sandy ground, and put more bullets into his gun. He only had eighteen bullets in his pocket left.
