"That's just it," Archangel said, having left Onyx's shoulder and morphed into humanoid form with a smile on her face.. "It's magic."
"We're Onyx and Archangel," Onyx said, "that's all you need to know."

'Vladimir,' Vladimir replied blankly.

An engine roared behind him. He turned around, and saw that the jeep and the people were just next to him. He smiled, and said, 'Thank you for saving us!'
Vladimir heard multiple clicks. He opened one eye, and noticed that guns were pointed at him, in all directions. Vladimir stood there, his hands spread out. The door of the jeep opened, and a foot wearing a black, shining shoe came out. A man then appeared, and closed the door. He wore all black, except for the tie, which was white. 'The Cursed Gunman,' he said, simply.
Vladimir smiled nervously. 'Er... No, you've made an error. I'm not The Cursed Gunman.'
'Don't fool with me,' the man retorted, 'You correspond exactly to the appearance the government gave us.' The man flicked out a gun, and pointed it at Vladimir. 'Please, enter the jeep. We do not bring dead to the prison. And keep your hands up.'
Vladimir didn't really know what to do. But he was thinking.
Why me...

Onyx and Archangel reacted quicky. Onyx, thanks to the empathy she had inherited from her mother, knew that no one here was lying.
"Leave him alone," She snarled, standing next to Vladimir. Archangel was quickly by his other side, her eyes narrowed and ready to summon her magic to fight.

The man stared down at the two behind his dark glasses. 'What are two infants doing here, in the middle of the desert? Get them too, while we're at it.'
Two men came out from the armed crowd. They looked bulky, and they were probably twins. They even had a scar almost exactly on the same place of their cheek. They were grinning like mad. One put his hand down on Onyx's shoulder, whilst the other did the same with Archangel. The guns were still pointed at Vladimir, who was just standing there, not moving, a worried grin across his face.

"Infants?" Archangel snarled, pulling out of the man's grasp. "I"m twelve, thank-you-very-much!"
Onyx narrowed her eyes, not moving. Her mind was working desperately to formulate a plan.

The two bulky men lifted Archangel and Onyx above the sand, and started carrying them to the jeep. The man dressed in black was still pointing at Vladimir with his gun. He shook his gun to the jeep, and Vladimir advanced to it. The guns from the crowd slowly turned, still pointing at Vladimir. Vladimir opened the jeep's back right door.

Archangel struggled madly, but Onyx just closed her eyes, her sister's curses in demonic starting to wear dow her patience as she thought of anything she could do. The dagger strapped to her arm? No, she wouldn't be able to use it right now. All they could do was wait, for now...

One of the men opened the back left, door, and the two bulky ones threw Archangel and Onyx into the jeep, onto Vladimir. Vladimir caught Onyx, but Archangel arrived after, squishing Vladimir in the face.
'Oomph.' he uttered.
The man dressed in black closed the door, and the bulky one did the same. They locked it. From the outside.
The man dressed in black then went up to the front, and opened the door. He stepped into the jeep, and pointed his gun at Vladimir. 'The famous Cursed Gunaman,' he said, sneering, 'Finally caught.'
Vladimir shook off Archangel, and said, 'Well, I've been caught a few times, but I'm not the one you're looking for. I swear.' Vladimir grinned like an idiot. The engine started, and the crowd lowered their guns.

Archangel humphed, pushing herself away from Vladimir and glaring at the floor of the jeep. Onyx seemed to be looking out the window, behaving like any other twelve year old in appearence, but the thoughts going through her mind were those of a well practised tactician.

Vladimir looked at the back of the jeep. He noticed that in the trunk, were tons of papers, and even some documents. There was an extra load of gas for the car, if ever they went out of it. The crowd continued walking near the jeep. He looked at the gas.
Gas.
Hm.
Gas explodes.
Idea.
Wait, no, I would get killed. Archangel and Onyx with me.
Vladimir sighed. He didn't really know what would happen now. Did he finally get caught for th things he didn't do? Might. Might not. Vladimir just hoped it wasn't the first option.

Onyx looked at Archangel, locking eye with her sister. They started to talk in rapid demonic, a language that they knew from birth because of the demon blood. They were discussing different options, but none of them seemed to work, there was always a flaw.

The man dressed in black looked at the two. He couldn't understand a thing. 'What are those two talking about?' he asked. Vladimir smirked, and shrugged. 'Seriously,' he said, 'I don't know.'
'Tell me!' The person shouted, flicking the security off his gun. Vladimir panicked, and replied, 'I swear I don't know!' and Vladimir pushed himself against the chair, scared of the gun pointed at him. What are they talking about? And I'M the one who's gonna get killed!

Archangel and Onyx, seeing the gun and Vladimir's reaction, quickly shut up. Onyx looked afraid, but Archangel, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow.
"Seriously, a girl can't have a private conversation with her twin anymore?" She asked sarcastically.

'I know most of the languages upon this world, dear,' the man said, smirking, 'And I've never heard a similar speaking. 'Wouldn't you want to tell me what you are talking about?' the man said, 'If you don't want your friend to have a third nostril.'
Vladimir chuckled at that, but he was really worried inside. But he kept the nervous smile. 'Ah heheh...' Vladimir laughed, quietly.

"Not many people should know this language," Onyx told them, "because its our own private language." From what she read in books, Onyx had guessed that most twelve year old twins did this. "And we were talking about how much our big brother will be angry."
Archangel nodded, but made a mental note to talk to her twin about making up decent excuses.

The man dressed in black grunted, and pointed his gun at Vladimir. Vladimir gulped, but kept his smile. The engine was roaring like mad, leaving a cloud of sand behind. He got caught? That's impossible. Well, for him, at least.
He opened his mouth, and muttered some words. The man retorted, 'Speak up,' and Vladimir took some breath, and said, 'Do you guys have anything to eat? I'm really hungry, ya know.'
'No need to feed you,' the man answered.
'I thought you don't bring the dead to prison.' answered Vladimir.
The man grumbled, and opened a box. He took out biscuits. Vladimir snatched them and began nibbling stupidly onto the crispy, cracking, crusty baked goods.

Archangel and Onyx started to talk in low tones, again in Demonic, asking each other if they could sense anyone from their family, but no one was close enough. Archangel asked about the pendant, but Onyx turned down the option. If the men found out about their blood line, then it would be worse for everyone (AKA, a very p*ssed off Raven being kept in captivity?)

Vladimir finished gulping down the treats, by smashing them one by one (very rapidly) into his mouth, like an automatic gunfire. He then sighed.
The man dressed in black sighed in return, answering, 'I cannot look at you without wanting it to be the last.'
Vladimir lifted one eyebrow, and uttered, 'Eh?'
The black man cackled, and sneered slightly, replying, 'It'll be a pleasure to kill you for your acts after you're done with prison.'

"Can you two stop going for each other's throats please?" Onyx asked quietly.
"You can practically smell the nerves going through the air," Archangel muttered.

The man dressed in black mumbled something, then kept his gun pointed at Vladimir. Vladimir felt his heart thudding against his rib cage, but he kept his nervous smile, like he always did. He looked at the retrovisor, and thought of something. Idea.
'Hey!' Vladimir exclaimed, 'Th-'
The man shot at Vladimir out of reflex, and Vladimir dodged the incoming attack. It his the chair, and the bullet laid in the hole created by it.
Vladimir took large gasps of air, then continued, 'There's a sandstorm back! Speed ahead!'
The man in black looked out the window, and noticed only the men behind. He stuck his head out the window a bit more, just in case. He yelled to Vladimir, 'What're you blabberin' on about? There's no-'
Vladimir kicked the man in the butt as hard as he could, and the man got shot out of the car. In the air, he shot many bullets, but all of them missed. Vladimir whipped out his gun at the conductor, who, out of panic, jumped out of the car. Vladimir jumped to the front seats, then began looking at the controls. 'So, er...' he began, 'Which one's the "forwards" button?'

Archangel and Onyx tried to dodge the bullets also, but were not as successful as Vladimir. One managed to create a gash in Archangel's arm, and another buried itself in Onyx's shoulder. The twins cried out once, but then pulled themselves together.
Archangel rolled her eyes, seeing Vladimir's cluelessness behind the wheel.
"Move over!" She commanded, pushing him out of the way and taking control of the jeep.

'Eyyhh!' Vladimri cried out as he was shoved out of the conductor's seat. His head popped out of the open window, and he noticed an angry mob running towards them. He heard bullets zip past him.
'Ahhh!' Vladimir shouted, 'Get moving!' and Vladimir stuck his head back into the jeep. He noticed Onyx's wound. He jumped to the back row of seats, and said, 'You're going to be all right,' laying one hand on Onyx's shoulder.

The wheels of the jeep spun slightly in the sand as Archangel stamped down on the accelerator, and the vehicle shot off. Onyx looked at Vladimir, and nodded silently.

'We can't let that bullet in,' Vladimir said, 'We need to take it out, before it gets infected. This might hurt a tad...' Vladimir took off his belt, and bent the buckle in a way so that you could use the size regulator as a tweezer. He approached near Onyx, looking at her, waiting for her to answer.

Onyx looked about to refuse help until Archangel said something to her in Demonic. Onyx then nodded to Vladimir.
"Ok, take it out."
