The Good Old Black Lake...8 years later

Meran kicked Holly again before he grabbed her by the neck, pinning her against the wall.

"Dont," Holly muttered weakly, "I cant ... I cant kill her I cant. She's my best friend..."

"But you will kill her..." Meran hissed, his face millimeters away from Holly's.

"I cant," Holly whispered again, "I cant, I cant, I cant, I cant, I cant..."

Meran's hand tightened its grip on Holly's throat.

Holly snapped her eyes shut and began to say a prayer.
It went a little something like this
Oh *swearword*
Oh *swearword*
Oh *swearword*
Oh *swearword*
Oh *swearword*

Meran threw Holly down again.

Holly kept her eyes shut. Maybe next time she opened them, she would be back in the room, with Shadow, and with her wand.
She opened her eyes. Nope. There he was.
"Im not scared of you..." Holly muttered, in a feeble attempt to keep her dignity.

"We'll see about that." Meran said, taking a vial from his belt.

Holly coughed, trying not to throw up from the kick, and turned around again.
"Whats that?" she asked weakly.

"It's like Holy Water for demons, only I adapted it to work on humans." Meran said, holding it to the light.

"Aww...." Holly muttered, but she stood again.
"Nothing will work. You can hurt me till Im nearly dead....I wont break...."
And yet, she was not as sure.

Meran turned back to Holly and grabbed her hair, yanking it back.

((If that was me, Meran would be dead ..... XD))

Holly choked slightly and looked up at Douch- I mean Meran.

Meran forced Holly's mouth open and poured his potion in.

Holly spluttered slightly, but that didnt stop a few drops escaping down her throat. It burt, like an acid.

Meran smirked.
"I have the antidote, you just have to kill her."

"I....." Holly choked. The pain was rather unbearable. If she blacked out now, that would be good. Or if he got bored and killed her.
"I..." Holly tried again, "MAKE IT STOP!"

"You just need to kill her." Meran said icily, the antidote spinning in his fingers.

Holly considered herself sneaking back into Shadow's room, and quietly saying Avada Kedavra. She considered her feelings watching a dead Shadow. No, this had happened (or had nearly happened) so many times in the past, it was unreal.
Holly shook her head, eyes burning and throat burning. But for different reasons. Obviously.

Meran sighed.
"I can wait until you change your mind. This is quite entertaining."

"I wont," Holly said breathing deeply, "I never will."

Meran sighed again.
"I can wait."

Holly sat up straight, trying to ignore the feeling. This must be what being shot is like, she thought, except this, is a million times worse.
It was at this moment that that little coward began to question her friendship with Shadow.

Meran watched, knowing that the pain became unbearable after a while.
