The Hostage

Natalie frowned.

"She was completely drained of energy...
She fainted.

Shadow sensed Natalie faint and her anger boiled somewhere in the back of her mine.

Natalie could see him...the man...coming towards her...in her dream...she was reliving it...she looked down...and she was naked...the man was coming towards her....

He put a cold hand against her back....

Natalie awoke with a scream.

Shadow could see everyhting Natalie was seeing and it allowed all hell to break loose... Rage took control of her actions as her red eyes flared and she charged towards the man.

"WHAT WHAT WHAT THE HELL?" Holly yelled looking at Natalie, scared, "WHAT?"

Natalie looked at Holly, sobbing.

"...no....never....what?" she stammered.

"What...?" Holly asked a little more confused, "Whats wrong?"

"I...I...I don't want to say..." said Natalie, frowning.

"I have seen what you did." Shadow hissed, "And you deserve not to live!" She sjot her magic at the man, putting all her fury behind it.

The man dodged it.

"She's so young...it was so easy.." he said, almost in pleasure.

Shadow was disgusted.
"You have no idea of the mental torture!" She yelled, continuing to fire bolts of magic.

The man continued to dodge.

"She looked too pure...I had to take something away from her..." he sneered.

"No one is too pure to live." Shadow snarled, circling him, no longer firing.

Holly patted Natalie.
"YOu okay?" she asked uneasily.

"It's isn't her life I took...she looks too pure...in all respects...so I decided to take...it...away...BEFORE she married that fiance of her's....I knew she'd never done it...or would never do it.... before she got married you see," said the man, "she needed to be puniched...that girl thinks far too much....too highly of herself...I decided to teach her a lesson!'

"Tell me eejit!" Holly demanded.

"It was not up to you to teach her." Shadow said. She was still seething, but the initial 'all out anger and destruction' phase of her being had come and gone. Now she was intent on punishing the man who had put her friend through so much.
"Have you ever thought, that had you been in my dimension, your... jewels and your head would have been removed by the first person to find out, otherwise me?"

"Not really...because...I don't know you that well..." said the man sweetly, sitting on a nearby rock.

"Nat ... tell me!" Holly said, angry, but glad all this demanding was making her posts go up.

Shadow raised a questioning eyebrow at the man and folded her arms.
"Most people prefer it that way."

The man smirked.

"Yes..." he mused.

Natalie's head snapped round to stare at Holly.

"He...he...did...it...to me...and I wanted...to...to save myself...you know...so it could be done...with the person I love and in an unabusive way...." she whispered.

Shadow's violet eyes narrowed dangerously. Normally, she could read people easily, but this one was a complete mystery to her. Her readings on his behaviour, and therefore his character kept changing.
"Who are you?"

"Why does it matter to you?" the man spat, looking Shadow up and down, "who do you think you are?"

Holly's face dawned.
"Oooooh. So you and Gary never .....never....did?"
Hard to comprehend, Holly thought.

"I am Shadow Wolf Roth, Princess of Darkness!" Shadow spat back. "That is who I am! Identify yourself!"
