"I long for home..."

Shadow confered for a few moments with Vrael, getting his views on her idea. Vrael burst out laughing.

"What?" asked Posydon, not liking not knowing things.

"Vrael's laughter means, in basic terms, that there is no way in heaven or in hell that the demons and the Synari will ever band together." Shadow said.

Posydon smiled.
"I'm afraid i agree with your brother. It's impossible."

"Perhaps..." Shadow mused aloud.

Posydon leant against the wall. There was a jingle of keys at the end of the hall as the jailor appeared, a bunch of guards behind him.

Shadow looked at the guards, her 'I am a ruler' face on.

The jailor put the key in the lock, turned it, and let the door swing open.
"The King wishes to speak to you. I'm afraid he isn't in a good mood, but then again, he never is..."
The guards entered the cell and led the trio out.

Shadow bowed her thanks and strode out of the cell, Vrael following.

Posydon followed the demons up the flight of stairs that lead to the throne room.

Shadow and Vrael bowed quickly before the ruler ((I forgot his name)).

Posydon did not bow infront of King Odeon. He would not bow infront of a tirant.

Shadow and Vrael were only being diplomatic, as they would point out later.
"Sire, you called us back?" Shadow said politely.

"Speak only when you are spoken to, scum of your people!" roared Odeon.

Shadow raised an eyebrow, and quickly put a hand up to warn Vrael not to pounce in his anger.
