Two-moon tyrant.

Archangel and Onyx started to let loose with bolts of magic, firing to wound, but not kill. Their lips moved wth soundless spells as they tried to tae down as many as possible.

The mob kept on falling. A cloud of dust and smoke passed, and there were no more people. Vladimir looked over the dune, and thought, is it finished?
He shot in the air.
Nothing replied.
Vladimir ran towards the enemy dune.

Archangel and Onyx ran after them, although they were visibly more tired. They lagged a few metres behind Vladimir, trying to keep up while saving their energy.

Vladimir appeared over the dune. He saw that most of the mob were on the ground, moaning in pain, whilst the few that stayed unscathed were fleeing. Vladimir went to a wounded one, then said, 'Don't worry, everything will be fine,' and went to another hurt one, and said the same thing again, to try and recomfort the wounded.

Archangel and Onyx stopped on the peak of the sand dune, and watched. They were tired, that's for sure, but they were also curious about this man who didn't seem to be what everything thought him to be.

Vladimir began poking and shuffling some people, searching for something. He looked into a pocket, and got what he needed.
He flipped the cellphone out, and dialed the emergency. He squeezed his nose, and said, 'Help! I'm stranded in the middle of Egypt, and there's a gun fight not far away! People are falling by the dozen! Send a chopper here!'
Vladimir flicked his gun out, shot three times in the air, then shot at the cellphone. He looked at Onyx and Archangel, and said, 'Let's get out of here.'

Archangel and Onyx nodded quickly. They had basically no idea what was going on, but they new thatone of the first things they wanted to do was get the hell out of that desert and hopefully to somewhere a bit safer.

Vladimir ran, and ducked behind a dune. He kept one eye open for an incoming chopper. He squinted at the sunlight. He made a sign to Onyx and Archangel to stay put.
Once that chopper comes, we take it, and hopefully get the heck out of here.

The twins exchanged confused glances, but sat down on the sand to wait. They both drew the hoods on their cloaks over their heads to shield their eyes from the sunlight.

Vladimir waited patiently. A few gusts of sand blew here and there, and he had to protect himself using his dull-purple cloak. He put his gun back at his hip, putting the security back on. He kept looking at the sky, waiting.

Archangel and Onyx sat close to each other, holding hands as if trying to comfort the other one. Onyx was trying to think about what Raven would do if she ever found out about the failed excercise, even if they weren't in the place they were supposed to be in. Thei mother, they hoped, wouldn't mind as much.

Vladimir heard a small sound of a motor coming near. He looked round, and saw a black speck coming from the east. This let him conclude two things: A city was near, and it was to the east. They'll have to go back there. He waited, still behind the dune.

Archangel and Onyx, seeing the black speck, started to act like two children lost in the desert. They hugged each other, and waved at the helicopter, trying to attract its attention.

The helicopter landed slowly, brushing the sand off the dune. Vladimir put a hand in front of his face so that he wouldn't get sand in his eyes. People went out of the helicopter. They unpacked strechers. More helicopters came from the east. Vladimir pulled Onyx and Archangel, and ran towards the helicopter. He pulled at the conductor. The conductor turned his head, and got punched by Vladimir. The conductor got knocked out, and he was thrown off the helicopter. Vladimir waved to Onyx and Archangel to come.

Archangel and Onyx, confused once more, started to follow Vladimir. Archangel jumped into the back of the helicopter, pulling Onyx up with her. Onyx found two headsets, putting one on and Archangle the other.

Vladimir looked at all the controls, and said, 'This'll probably be abrupt...'
Vladimir pulled on one lever, pressed on a button, then the blades started accelerating. 'Keep the others out!' Vladimir yelled to Onyx and Archangel. Vladimir thought that it would take some time before going up.

Archangel and Onyx helped each other to cast a shield of magic around the helicopter to 'keep the others out'. They looked at each other warily, not really knowing what was going to happen next.

The motor rumbled, and the blades slashed at thin air. The helicopter slowly lifted, and Vladimir put his hands on the steering wheel. He tried to conduct the chopper, but it swaved left and right. 'Ehhhh...' Vladimir uttered, feeling that if he continued like this, they'll be barfing everywhere.
Vladimir tried to stabilize the chopper, and try to move it at the same time. In vain. It stayed slightly above the ground, doing nothing but levitating. He pulled at a lever, then the chopper went up very fast. By reflew, Vladimir pushed on it, and, soon after that, the chopper was bobbing up and down, because Vladimir was succesively moving the lever by reflex. He stabilized the lever, his heart thumping against his rib cage. He looked by the window. The other choppers were arriving very fast.
'Uh oh.'

Archangel and Onyx pooled together their energy to keep the shield up, even though Archangel was starting to panic. They linked their minds, and Onyx tried to calm her sister down enough for her to concentrate. Easier said than done...

Vladimir noticed a button that wasn't there before. He pushed on it, thinking that it wouldn't do anything too bad. Wrong. The chopper fired.
It sent bullets onto the other choppers, and puffs of sand sprouted from the ground where the machinegèuns missed.
'What the hell?' Vladimir exclaimed, 'Why are there weapons on this medical chopper?' Vladimir shook everything out of his head, and concentrated on trying to conduct the chopper.
Another thing I'll be accused for...

Archangle and Onyx were sitting in the middle of the main hold of the helicopter, holding onto each other as the 'copter dipped and turned.
"There are always weapons on military medical vehicles!" Onyx shouted.

'Yeah, but then,' Vladimir yelled back, as he stabilized in vain the chopper, 'Why did they send MILITARY choppers?'
Vladimir noticed the other choppers slowly lift from the ground, spreading sand everywhere on the bodies that lay on the ground.
Uh oh, looks like the gang called the emergency to say that they caught me. And so that means they knew it was me calling when I called the emergency! Crap!
Vladimir tried to move the helico' forwards. It moved two centimeters, then dropped down, but Vladimir took it back up swiftly.

Archangle and Onyx prayed within their minds, but somehow knew that this escapade wasn't going to come off very well.

Vladimir tried controlling the machine, but nothing did: It kept swaying from left to right, up and down, eventually advancing two or three centimeters. Suddenly, the chopper went down, and Vladimir abruptly took his hand down onto the button, without wanting to. The helicopter fired, missing, but making it swerve again from left to right, and making more people flee.
Vladimir tried to stabilize the chopper. He finally managed it, and he tried to advance. He slowly began going forwards, and soon enough, he was able to sort-of manipulate the machine.
Vladimir looked back to Onyx and Archangel, 'Well, that wasn't so bad, eh?'
When he looked back, he noticed other choppers lifting. Oh Christ.

Archangel was looking at Vladimir as if he had just grown another head, wheras Onyx had her eyes screwed shut in fear.
