Coping. (Post Prophecy)

Dominique nodded quickly, heading for the room.
Bart, while that time, twitched slightly as he heard the words. He turned over, his bone spikes leaning themselves against the other side of the bed. This movement showed his face. It had four closed eyes, and his canines were outrageously long. His fingers, attached with oversized claws, curled around his forehead, gently caressing his head with his claws. His purple hair fluttered, and his purple fur fell onto the bed, drooping. The aura continued to emanate. As he turned, the cloth on his previosuly wounded leg slid off. Surprisingly, the magic didn't cure him instantly. The wound was completely black, but several massive burns marks propaged around his whole leg, covering his leg in red burns and scars. Black blood trickled from his wound. Near the wound, his flesh was extremely pale, some stripes of that same colour shooting from the wound out to the top and bottom of his leg. Black sparks flew from Bart's hands, enveloping his head, and still pushing objects.

Shadow decided that she couldn't wait for Dominique to return, and strode into the heart of the storm. She placed a hand on Bart's head, delving into his mind. She gritted her teeth, eyes squeezed shut, trying to keep her feet on the ground, searching for the right area in Bart's mind.

Dominique came back, breathin heavily, with the two silver bracelets. She quickly moved next to Shadow, dodging the eventual black sparks. Bart's tail whipped at the air frantically as Shadow put a hand on his forehead. His fur swayed like the waves of a frenetic ocean, moved by the black aura emanating from him. Bart frowned in his dose, his mouth opening slightly, showing his extremely long canines. Dominique handed the silver bracelets to Shadow, not knowing what to do.

Shadow stood back, knowing that the bracelets were likely to cause Bart to go into shock, so she stood back, summoning her magic. She knew that any part demon that sensed a threat or a challenge would not back down, even if they were unconscious, they would awaken to take the fight.

Bart's aura then flashed out. Black spears filled throughout the room, even slamming the door shut with deafening noise, then hiding it in darkness. One of Bart's eyes shot open, the red light glinting. The three other eyes followed, as he pushed against one arm, lifting the upper part of his body up, onto the bed. He was frowning, angrily at the two, his canines shining. Dominique immediately transformed into her Kraferr form, sensing hostility in bart's actions. bart let out a light growl from deep inside his chest. His claws dug deep into the fabric of the bed.

"Dominique, let us fight," Shadow warned the female Kraferr before she closed her violet eyes, and opening four red ones. She felt her full demonic side merging and taking over her human, ignoring the pain from the sores and fractured bones. She hadn't done this for so long, willingly unleashing her other side. Her coal black hair flew around her in the wortex caused by her aura of black magic, ready to take on the fight.

Bart stood up. The bed started to disappear in total darkness, followed by the few remaining objects. The room then had a strange feeling for a moment, as Bart slowly hovered over the ground, his feet inclined slightly. He then lowered, his purple hair flowing over his forehead. His red eyes shot open again, and the room then melded into a vast area. It was a badland. Dried stones everywhere. No obstacles. It was only after that there was a loud crack, then Shadow, Bart and Dominique appeared to be in a sort of circular arena, closed out by wide, black eternal gaps. Bart then stood on the ground, and then changed his stance. It was his kreferric stance, he had used before, with slight modifications after he had trained to make it more effective. His tail whipped at the air in cirles, his hands throwing out sparks. A low growl escaped from his slightly parted lips. Dominique then went into her battle stance, similar to Bart's, but with more defensive psoition. There was no wind. There was no sun, but there was light covering the whole arena.

Shadow stood tall, her four red eyes glowing with a menacing aura.
"Dominique, you must stay out of this fight..." She warned once more. She stood with her arms slightlyparted from her sides, hands clenched into fists. Her feet were placed at shoulder width apart, giving her more balance. Her black magic surrounded her in a firey black aura, the occasional flash of deep red signifying her relation to Karthragan. The few locks that had fallen from her high pony tail floated in the magic, and her eyes narrowed.

Dominique didn't accept. "Shadow, you know that Bart is a base Kraferr. I know more things about Kraferrs myself, such as weak points, and body reflexes. You need my help," She said, trying to convince that Shadow needed her help, but also that she wasn't going to let this fight down so quickly.
Bart's eyes glistened as Shadow's did. His clawed fists tensed, making the black aura just as furious as a mad dog. Black sparks flew through them, several falling down the endless pit around the arena. Bart's left foot twitched, and he heaved himself forwards, one fist in the air, his purple hair flowing behind him. "Haaaarrr!" he yelled, as he dashed to Shadow. He threw his fist at Shadow.

"Dominique, Bart is also part demon, and you have no idea what that entails!" Shadow snarled as she rapidly flipped out of the way of Bart's punch, landing in a crouched battle position. Her eyes were narrowed, her demonic side starting to take control over her. She muttered a spell under her breath, imprisonning Dominique in a sphere of her magic to keep the female Kraferr safe.

Dominique wanted to shount out something back, but the black magic imrisoned her before she could open her mouth.
Bart, as he noticed he had missed his recent attack, used his hurled hand, and pushed it against the ground. He stood on one hand for a second, his tail seemingly to twist arund his body. He then pushed off his hand, frontflipping. His tail then twisted the other way, making Bart twist with it. He wrapped his arms around his body, and spread his claws outwards, opposite to his body, making a drill attack.

Shadow briefly closed her eyes, allowing her demonic side to take over completely. Her forearms instinctivly crossed in front of her, casting a shield to deflect the attack. Her four red eyes narrowed as the Kraferr hit the shield, concentrating harder on keeping the shield in place.

Bart hit the sheild with great force. Seeing that he was not able to penetrate it, and that the sheild did not reflect any dorce, Bart stopped, his body still twirling slightly, and he pushed against his arms, making him backpace after he landed. He then glared at Shadow, and took his battle position again.

Shadow narrowed her eyes, her hand twitching slightly as she managed to regain control over her other side. She knew what she had to do now, and she was just planning on how to do it. Her eyes, still in demonic form, were narrowed, and her tail twitched.

Bart reached out far behind him. Sparks gathered up from the depths of the pit into his hand, forming a small electrical-like sphere. A black aura could be noticed inside of it. He then threw it, at Shadow. Unlike normal projectiles, Bart's Kraferric magic mixed to the demonic magic, would make it slightly distorted. it would do the same damage as a normal projectile in the end, but it would hurt twice as much, as the projectile does not hit in one shot, but hits, then hits again, and again, and again, and again, until there is no more force to it.

Shadow's shield didn't take the impact, but rather she took it to the shoulder. The demoness fell back with a grunt, her four eyes squeezed shut before she got to her feet. Magic gathered into spheres in the palms of her hands and she began to fire them at Bart, bolts of magic forming every time the one before had been thrown.

Bart tried to dodge the multiple black projectiles, and he got hit on his right elbow, and his right knee. He then fell to the ground with a loud thud, the shock of the impacts coiling up into his body. He then lifted himself up, still slightly wobbly. Blood spilled from his elbow and leg, and the sparks gathered around the wounds, making them fade. However, the bullet wound on his other leg just grew, the green taint just getting more opaque. The scars got bigger, some opening. The sparks did not heal the wound. Bart grunted, taking his hand off his elbow. Black aura appeared in his hands, as he walked slowly towards Shadow.

Shadow, knowing that her opponent was injured decided to make her move. She took three running steps towards Bart before somersaulting over, landing in a flip. She spun quickly on her heel, aiming a roundhouse kick at Bart's back.

Bart, having spotted a glance of Shadow as she somersaulted over him, insinctively tried ducking, but it was a bad idea. He took the roundhouse kick in the neck. A loud crack was heard, as he was forced forwards, and then sprawled onto the ground. The dark aura seemed to calm over him. He didn't move.

Shadow swore out loud, kneeling beside Bart. She cursed herself over and over again for using her demonic strength. Gently placing a hand over Bart's neck, she murmured her mantra, and allowed her healing magic to seep through the skin to the injury, healing it.

Bart twitched, and immediately jumped out of the way. The aura blasted out of his body. His four eyes frowned. His canines were showing through his parted lips. Bart then abruptly threw his head sideways, making a loud crack sound in the air. A small sneer smirked up Bart's face as he put his head back into place. He then came back into his normal stance, his feet skidding on the ground, shoving dust and small rocks out of the way. Black soheres appeared in Bart's hands, and he threw them at Shadow.

Shadow began to tire of the fight and decided to go for direct magical action. She flipped and cartwheeled out of the way of the barrage of bolts heading her way while all the time her lips moved with innumerable words, weaving spells through the air. She was trying to create a magic-repulsive net around Bart, hoping that if she managed to put an end to the magic, then Bart might be able to come to his senses.

A black net soon appeared around Bart's body. He glanced around, slightly panicked, as the net tightened, leaving only an oval of concentrated black magic stuck inside the net, Bart unable to be seen behind the magic. Sparks flew away, out of the net, for a few seconds, but then only the black aura remained, calm. The fiery cloud-like sprouts of the aura appeared from the top of the net, coiling around in the wind slightly.

Shadow, muttering yet more spells under her breath, manipulated the magic carefully. A coil of magic separated itself from the net, but was rapidly replaced. The coil wrapped itself around Bart's right wrist, pulling it up behind his back. Shadow distinctly remembered Raven using this tactic on her whenever she went demonic, and hoped that it would work. Hopefully, the human side would concentrate on the pain and use that to pull free of the demonic possession.

Bart thudded against the black magic walls. He growled and roared inside of the trap. He then felt somewhat tired. He stopped thudding on the wall. His arms fell aside of his legs, and his head slowly fell. He closed his eyes. The black aura surrounding him started to wave more smoothly now. Sparks flew outwards, but soon disappearing in thin air.
