Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

"Ah...good plan..." grinned Natalie, "lets go out the gate...to walk in with the rest of the first years when they come..." suggested Natalie, "its tradition apparently...I'll come too..."

"Ok. And by the way, you now have a pegusi herd." Shadow said, starting to walk.

"Um...what?" Natalie asked, "I don't...um...know what that means..."

"How do you think I flew here?" Shadow asked.

"Ah...I see...um...in the forest," Natalie tapped her broom, told it to hover, sat upon it flew over the gate.

Shadow sighed and levitated herself over.

Natalie grinned.

"I was gonna send the broom back over....oh by the way...the girls have brooms....don't they?" Natalie asked.

"No, but I've arranged for them to get some. They're firstyears after all." Shadow said.

"Yes...I have heard that HB is quite strict about everyone in her flying class having a broom...not a flying horse..." grinned Natalie.

"Yes, I had to warn the twins not to prank her." Shadow said. "And to be honest, I don't really think that Hardbroom will approve of Archangel's hair either."

"Not...overly..." sighed Natalie, looking at it with a grin.

As they neared the forest, a black pegasus trotted out to meet them.

Natalie grinned.

"Hello..." she said to it.

Merlas nickered gently in welcome.

Natalie patted Merlas.

"This is the one I saved, isn't it?" Natalie asked.

Shadow nodded.
"Yes, and she's back in full health, with a little package too." She gently patted the rather podgy mare's side. "That's why I couldn't leave her at home. Raven still can't figure out which end is which!"

"Indeed...well...that's Raven..." sighed Natalie.
She patted the horse and stoked its beautiful mane.

"Yes, incredibly useful of you're planning a war, but otherwise no use what so ever." Shadow agreed.

"You know I'm scarred mentally for life by some things she says to me..." joked Natalie.

"I'm scarred mentally by the fact she can see into my mind at will." Shadow smiled back.

"Um...you are forgetting I can too...." giggled Natalie.

"Damn.....forgot that bit..." grinned Natalie.

"Anyway, first years?"

Natalie turned round. Sure enough...quite a few first years were standing behind them.

"We enter at eleven..." sighed Natalie.
