Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

Shadow sighed, sending Merlas away. Pegusi are not things you nor;ally see.
"I remember first year at Hogwarts. Man, these guys are SHORT."

"I was like...one or two years below you...wasn't I?" Natalie grinned, "and yes...they are indeed short..."

"Two years." Shadow said. "I remember your sorting."

"Yes...humiliating...I took longest out of all....twenty minutes...they said it was a record..." said Natalie.

"I remember I got really bored. Didn't you see the headteacher glaring at me because of the random orbs of magic that kept appearing?" Shadow said with a smile.

"That was you!" Natalie laughed, "I just thought I was seeing things because of the long period of time in the humiliation zone..."

Shadow smiled.
"Yes, that was me expressing my boredom."

"Mmm...sorry I have such a complex mind..." Natalie grinned.

"S'ok, the hat saw my other side and immediately put me in slytherin." Shadow said.

"You belonged in Gryffindor..." said Natalie, hoping she would not offend.

"I don't know, but it was only because of that that I was branded a snake." Shadow said, starting to do a headcount of all the firstyears.

"It's rather evil to be called that..." sighed Natalie, "actually...it is malicious to be called any bad name..."

Shadow shrugged.
"Ok, we have 15 firsties here."

"Ah...I heard there was 16 enroled...and it's five too eleven now..." said Natalie.

"So we're missing one?" Shadow clarified.

"She'll be on her way..." sighed Natalie.

Shadow nodded.
"Yes, there's always one who's a little late."

"Yes....indeed..." Natalie grinned

"I remember that there was one first year late for the sorting in my first year there."

"I didn't go here....so I don't know if there wouold have been anyone late in my first year here..." Natalie grinned, "who was late then when you were here?"

"No, not here, in Hogwarts." Shadow said.

"Ah...I see...well, I wondered there...apparently there is no sorting here..." sighed Natalie, "who was the late comer then when you started Hogwarts?"

"Me." Shadow said with a laugh. " I came in two days later."

"Ah...I see....." grinned NAtalie, "smart..."

"No, it was prearranged." Shadow assured her friend as the last first year clumsily ran to join them, her too big hat falling over her eyes.
