Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

Natalie Patterson flew over the dark forest and landed in the courtyard. She had been riding side saddle on her broom, and grinned around her. A grey haired, plump witch with searching eyes walked smartly out to greet her.

"Good morning...Miss Patterson," she said, smiling slightly.

"Good morning Miss Cackle..." said Natalie, shaking the witch's hand

With a loud, unexpected bang, Hayley Parker landed on the grassy earth, tangled in her cloak. Disgracefully, she fell over. Quickly, she got up, fixed her hair, pouted slightly, and spotted Natalie,
"Nat?" she said loudly, partly surprised, partly embarassed. "Jeez, didn't expect to see you here mate," she added, walking towards her.

"I'm...going to be...inspecting here for a couple of weeks...." said Natalie, smiling importantly.

Jamie was a teacher at Cackles. He walked out of the building and smiled at Natalie, he offered his hand and said "Welcome to Cackles Miss Patternson. Excuse the absence of the headmistress, she is ofcourse busy as ever."

"ARCHANGEL STOP FUSSING!" Shadow scolded as she landed with her twins. "I apologise, they're not used to going to boarding school."

Jamie nodded at Shadow,
"Ofcourse it is very acceptible behaviour, when the situation is taken into account."

Shadow nodded back, and the two girls bowed.

Jamie turned back to the inspecter.
"Miss Patterson."

Shadow ushured the girls inside before returning outside again.

"Jamie...it's Natalie..." sighed Natalie, "and I'm looking for Constance Hardbroom..."

"Miss Hardbroom? She's inside." Shadow said.

Natalie nodded and smiled slightly at Shadow and the girls.

"First years? Hogwarts too far away?" Natalie asked.

"They're here on trial for now." Shadow said. "Because of the way we age, they have to go through schooling twice."

"Ah...so this is...the first?" Natalie asked.

Shadow nodded.
"Yes, and I follow them as a school nurse to keep up with their magic training."

"Good plan...I am inspecting...not as you know it....I'm inspecting to see do I want to become a teacher here...because Hogwarts is full..." sighed Natalie.

Shadow smiled.
"Nice to know that there's going to be some Hogwarts company around here. Do you think Holly's going to turn up?"

"Holly plays Quidditch...I'm an elf advisor/part time healer/teacher...and they sort of...frown upon quidditch at this school...." sighed Natalie, "though you never know with Holly...."

"True..." Shadow said.

Natalie grinned.

"Shall we...go inside?" Natalie asked.

"Ok. I've only just arrived. Where's the infirmary?" Shadow said sheepishly.

"No idea....I don't think they have one...apparently it is a very...um...well...they don't have window panes or electricity...put it that way...."

"Ok, is there a wood or forest nearby then?" Shadow asked.

Yes.... past the gate...did your girls not walk through there...being the first day, first years apparently walk through the forest...and if you don't get to the gates by eleven...they lock you out..." sighed Natalie, "oh look...."

The second years had exited the castle in a formal fashion.

"Er... no we flew in." Shadow said. "I can set something up in the forest."
