Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

"I will help in any way possible...after all...I am holding the product of a potion right here..." said Natalie quickly, "and...um...I won't leave you...even if something does go wrong."

Shadow smiled at her friend.
"Thank you."

Now that they were back in the real world, Shadow appeared as a ghost, and her real body still lay unconscious on the ground.

"Ok...so...we...um...need to...go somewhere that isn't here? Or will this do?" Natalie asked.

"This will do." Shadow said, stepping back. She made a few signs in the air, her eyes closed, chanting in demonic. Twenty six cloaked figures appeared, and Shadow opened emotionless eyes.

"Ok..I get this now..." said Natalie, grinning.

She looked at the Emotions.

"So...now what?" she asked.

Knowledge spoke up from the potions corner while the other emotions formed two circles around Shadow. Seven on the inside, and eighteen on the outiside.

"I'll...yes...be standing back...if you need me," said Natalie, backing away.
She watched with interest, taking mental notes.

Knowledge walked over with a small collection of vials. A few she injected into Shadow's bloodstream, and a few she managed to get Shadow to drink, before she gained her place on the inner circle.

Natalie watched closely.
She willed Tomorrow not the cry...and thankfully, she stayed asleep.

Shadow was surrounded by an orb of different coloured magics, and the orb slowly split into two different spheres.

"Ok...it's working...." said Natalie quietly.

The chant ended, and the orbs vanished along with the emotions. There was now a perfectly fine looking Shadow standing there, and a rather p*ssed off looking Meran...

"Ah...ok...I see you got fugly (Yes...that's right) to come out," said Natalie, looking with evil eyes at Meran.

Meran examined a hand.
"Hm..." He hummed to himself quietly while Shadow tried to get her magic, which was in danger of unleashing hell, back uder control.

Natalie hid her child slightly, and stared at Meran,
"Oh no you don't," she mouthed at him.

Shadow managed to control herself, and put on her 'emotionless' face. Meran glared at her.
"Summon Kar."
"Not in a million years."

"And Kar is...?" Natalie asked.

"Karthragan, former Prince of Darkness." Shadow spat.

"Ah...your...your....thing..." said Natalie, looking at the floor.

Meran backhanded Shadow.
"Summon him!" He barked.

Natalie steppedin front of Shadow.
"NO!" she said loudly.

"Why is it that you always get in the way?" Meran snarled. Shadow growled.
"Leave her alone!"
"I wouldn't try to protect her unless you actually want to die this time."

"I don't care...I would pay that price to save one of the only true friends that I've ever had...and probably ever will have...so this time...yes...you'll have to kill me to get to her!" said Natalie loudly.

"Courageous, aren't we?" Meran said thoughtfully.

"No...but I judge that at the moment there is something much more important that fear..." said Natalie confidently.
